Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) discussed the report in The Washington Post that accused former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct.
She said if Moore were to win in the December 12 U.S. Senate special election, he could be expelled if an ethics committee finds wrongdoing in an investigation.
Klobuchar said, “We may not have much choice on that, but we have choice on something else. That is that you can expel a senator once they are in with two-thirds of the vote after the ethics committee does an investigation.

Why would a man who had graduated from West Point and from law school seek a young wife from a small Christian town? Less likely to cheat, divorce, have STDs, etc. Roy Moore sounds like a normal, old fashioned man.
Yes, these allegations are older than McShame’s scandal with the Keating 5....bring it ALL up! Every last Senator has SOMETHING to hide.
Moore has publicly stated he does not know, and has never met, the woman who claims he sexually fondled her at age 14.
Why has the Washington Post not challenged Moore’s statement?
Why has the burden of proof not shifted to the Washington Post?
As to providing alcohol to minors, that claim cannot be proved or disproved, by anyone.

Maybe he'd found it preferable to blow out the candles on his 70th birthday cake next to his 56 year old first wife of 30 years instead of with a 35 year old ex secretary second wife - like so many members of Congress have.
Which is exactly what Moore did.

Yes, she is indeed a lawyer, a Yale-educated lawyer, no less. In 2009, we had some weather events in the summer in MN. Sen. Klobuchar then said she was going to try the worst impacted zones a disaster area and was going to ask for relief. Then she disclosed why she was going to ask. “It is the role of gov’t. to make people happy.”
Color me flabbergasted.

Like when Massachusetts Congressman Jerry Studs, who was 46 at the time (1983), was found to have molested a 17-year old student/page in Congress? That molestation had just occurred - not 38 years earlier.
If memory serves, Studs was given a slap on the wrist censure and reelected to six more terms to push for the destruction of marriage.
And yes, he was later given a powerful committee chairmanship and was an honored member of the inside the beltway club.
