I always thought the K-cup thing was a rip off.

It is a ripoff, and the coffee tastes like plastic

"I always thought the K-cup thing was a rip off."

Yes, do the math, about a $1 a shot, and the machines are unreliable as heck. I was involved with a non-profit club and we went through 3 of them, all clogging internally and no you-tube video could help me find a fix.

French Press w/ Dunkin w/ filtered water, best cup of coffee on the planet, buy the DD in bulk @ the Box Stores....

It is. It produces a bitter flavored water it calls coffee.
Even doubling the amount of ‘coffee’ that goes into it still produces bitter water. Since I already have a unit, I make coffee mocha, which actually has a pleasant taste. Everything else is homeopathy, ie, diluting something until there can’t be anything left but the dilute and selling it.

As for Hannity, the sponsors may come to regret. It was during the Sandra Fluke thing, although I could be wrong about that, that one of Rush’s sponsors bailed. I had only used the service to give Rush a boost and cancelled it when they pulled their ads. It wasn’t long before the sponsor was grovelling to come back, citing plummeting revenues.

The hot water through the plastic coffee cartridges is very, very unhealthy. Heating that cheap plastic like that and drinking what brewed through it is not good.

“I always thought the K-cup thing was a rip off.”

I recall the inventor says he regrets inventing the thing based on the amount of waste it generates.

I always thought the K-cup thing was a rip off.

It's very expensive coffee, although it tastes as fine as the various flavored beans I grind in my grinder at home.

I have two offspring that have used K-Cups for a long time. It's all they have, and I use them when at their homes.

I doubt I'll have one in my home, but, if I ever do, my sister-in-law gave me a K-cup sized reusable basked to fill with my own grind. That is much less expensive.

Those Keuring coffee makers are crap. They only work half the time when I’ve tried to use than at hotels. Maybe the hotels figure the can save on the coffee by providing these useless machines that look good but do nothing.

Keurig products are crap anyway. I went through three in three years before giving up altogether. As for Realtor.com, I never found a house or property using them that I could not have found just by going to a good realtor in the area I was looking at.

Go out of business without a taxpayer bailout for either of these two companies.
