.@SenatorMenendez trial in turmoil as jurors admit hearing explosive comments https://t.co/cEqanl6z1z— Jonathan D. Salant (@JDSalant) November 13, 2017
Arroyo-Mautsby told reporters after court on Thursday that a juror prevented her from sending a note to Walls and that she had been told that her vote didn't matter.
After questioning the four seated jurors, Walls said he found no reason to declare a mistrial. Earlier, Walls had said he watched Arroyo-Mautsby's interview on television Thursday night and concluded her statements basically "amplified" her comments in the jury room.-Per article.
As soon as I saw the excused juror's comments, I tweeted asking whether the jury was sequestered. The answer is no, and I cannot believe the judge did not instruct dismissed juror not to talk to press until trial over.****************

Keurig's CEO has apologized to employees following backlash against the brand's decision to stop running ads during Sean Hannity's Fox News show.
In a memo to employees obtained by The Washington Post's Erik Wemple, CEO Bob Gamgort called Keurig's decision to explain its plan to "pause" its advertising with Hannity's show "highly unusual" and "outside of company protocols."

The nature of social media and the internet news environment is that stories like this explode, and generally do not disappear quickly.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has confirmed it has received multiple congressional referrals for investigations over the past year regarding the sale of twenty percent of the American uranium supply to Russia's nuclear arm, as well as calls for investigations into allegations of pay-for-play regarding the Clinton Foundation, Circa has learned.
Multiple sources, including congressional officials, tell Circa that the requests sent to the Department of Justice over the past year have led to ongoing investigations, which they say also include investigations into the alleged leaking of classified information to the media and the improper unmasking of Americans.
DOJ spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores told Circa, "the department takes seriously all allegations from Congress of criminal conduct in determining whether to open an investigation." She said, "requests to open an investigation would be referred to the appropriate investigative agency, such as the FBI, for review."

"I am comfortable with them saying what they feel they need to say to help the situation," said Carusone, the president of the left-leaning watchdog Media Matters. "But at the end of the day, what really matters to me is whether their ads will run. They won't anymore."
Poll: 37 percent of Alabama evangelicals more likely to vote for Moore after allegations.
Nearly 40 percent of Alabama evangelicals said in a new poll that they are more likely to vote for GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore following allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
A JMC analytics poll found that 37 percent of evangelicals surveyed said the allegations make them more likely to vote for the GOP Senate candidate in the upcoming election.
Just 28 percent said the allegations made them less likely to vote for Moore and 34 percent said the allegations made no difference in their decision.
