And since you can expect it, it’s ok to plant it?
Just because you see something on your TV or computer screen doesn't mean you know what's going on. There is NO EVIDENCE that the police planted coke on the suspect.
You have a violent suspect, fleeing the scene of the crime. .who is then found to have a weapon in his trunk. When cops even hear the word "gun" they go into a high alert defense mode as it takes only an instant of neglect to end up dead. .which is what cops are facing. . every damn day.
I'm sure that was the number one concern at that scene. Probably when they conducted the search. .it was another weapon they were searching for on the suspect. . and the contents of his pockets were searched and then emptied on the ground. . .but, believe me, they were searching for whether this jerk had a weapon on his person. . the coke was a residual aftermath and was put in his wallet rather than his shirt as an after-thought.
As someone mentioned, probably that was mishandled and the coke charge will be dropped. . .but to go ballistic on the cops and just get sucked into the media "cops are evil" narrative is just plain stupid.
