Of course there are demons. And of course we’re facing spiritual battle.
Unfortunately we in the West face that spiritual battle using politics instead of the tools that the Lord gave us to use. We seem to think we can battle evil using the tools that evil uses and somehow come up the victor. And then we’re shocked, SHOCKED when it doesn’t work out that way.

If someone doesn’t believe in demon possession, he/she can’t be a Christian. Its existence is clear in the Bible. To be a Christian you must believe ALL of the Bible — verbal and plenary. It’s not a Chinese menu to pick and choose what parts you want to believe.
I grew up with foreign missionaries frequently living in our home during their furloughs, and the stories they told left no doubt about demons and possession. In our dorm in Seminary, we had an issue that emanated from the Missions Professor’s office and an artifact he had brought from Africa.
And then there are Democrats.
There's here now. Before Christ, there was no defense against demons. Today, His name casts them out just as the demoniac in Luke lost his demons to pigs. They are always looking for a host. I think we are seeing it today with the guy who killed 9 in a black church, the Vegas shooter, and now this guy in the Texas church. Of course they are all around us, but these stand out.
Again, the church is the problem. We have allowed prayer to be removed from school, We have allowed sodomy today. We murder babies and there is barely a peep. We vote for baby killers if they promise $5 more on Social Security. 2 Chron 7:14 is still in effect, but we have grown used to evil as Lot did at the gates of Sodom. It will be interesting to see the reaction to Roy Moore in Alabama. Trump has a team of prayer warriors in the WH who prays with him and for him everyday. Is he popular?
Jesus tells us it will be "as it was in the days of Noah" when He comes back. Is evil bad enough today to compare with demons murdering, raping, and robbing everyone on earth? The Nephilim were walking, talking, murdering demons, and the Bible says ALL flesh had been corrupted but Noah. The Ark was the way out and represents the Rapture today. Scripture doesn't say things get better down here. If we can't effect change, Jesus will come and change it. Ask yourself how we would be received if we marched in the streets demanding gay marriage be reversed, abortion must stop, and prayer brought back to school children. It's getting late, people.

While this has always been true, what is different now is that more and more people are able to recognise this, as if a curtain has been pulled back or a light has been shown in onto a dark place,

Not only is demon possession real, but their is a huge increase in recent demonic activity.
I’ve never seen it this active in the 30 years that I have been doing spirit releasement work.
IMHO, the mass shootings over the couple of years have been demonic in inspiration.

In the early 1990’s I was working with a young woman in therapy when two spirits appeared. They had blue eyes and gray hair and appeared harmless. The young woman said they were her deceased grandparents. They wanted her to come with them.
I did not perceive anything unusual, except that I had a knot in my stomach.
Suddenly, the words “Do you believe that Jesus was born in the flesh?” came out of my mouth. The spirits replied, “We know Jesus.”
To which the voice from my mouth stated, “That was not the question.” and repeated, “Do you believe that Jesus was born in the flesh?”
I had never heard these words prior and had never read them in the Bible. They are 1 John 4:1
In response to the repeated question, their blue eyes turned to black and then to red as their true nature came out.
They were imposters. It didn’t take long before they were howling in fear and were taken away by the angelic realm.
Generally there are 4 different events which open a person’s soul to possession.
1. Being drunk... thus alcohol is often called spirits
2. On drugs
3. Severe depression or extreme fear
4. Under general anesthesia... thus it is very important to pray for people undergoing surgery to protect them while their own soul is detached.
When I remove attached spirits I ask each one what event took place that allowed them to enter. I also ask them how they changed the person after they attached.
Often the spirit tells me that they entered when the child was molested and they tell me who did it and when. They were in the perp and moved into the child during the event.
So earlier this week, I went to my group counseling meeting for people that lost loved ones to addiction.
We splinter off into smaller groups and I’m in the sibling group, and one of the women in the group announces that hshe’s a therapist. Great!
Productive conservation, and then the therapist asks if anyone in the group has considered contacting a medium. Everyone in our group (all women) enthusiastically say yes. Of course, I said no and was very dismissive of it.
One woman asked me why, since I’m a practicing Catholic and believe in the afterlife.
I said odds are that the medium is a fake or con artist doing cheap parlor tricks. I conceded that there is the possibility of contacting something supernatural.
“See,” they said, “you think it’s possible to contact a deceased loved one!”
I said no, I said there’s the possibility that you could contact some “thing.” But I don’t think it’s a loved one’s spirit.
Spooked the hell out of all of them. They never considered it, I suppose.

we simply have to continuously discern and choose to resist the Devil and his supporters, human and angel, expediently, powerfully and (very important) publicly. that’s why the founders’ said ‘eternal vigilance’ is required to keep our freedom, our Republic.
the problem is that many of us, including myself, who could serve effectively on our side are ruled somewhat by emotion (mainly fear and anger), and thus influenced and induced into serving the earthly powers here, instead of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
