Funny, but when I think of Gillespie and the other squishy GOPe Republicans, I'm reminded of Revelation 3:16: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Lukewarm candidates just aren't going to cut it anymore. These times require strong, bold leadership and some real differentiation from the opposing party, not "pale pastels".

Nowhere is this more evident than in New Jersey, a heavily Democratic state where Chris Christie won TWICE simply because he energized voters who loved an outspoken candidate who didn't pull any punches.
He was "Donald Trump" before Donald Trump came along.
His lieutenant governor Kim Guadagno was about as uninspiring a candidate as you will ever see. She said all the right things, but she lost badly.
