Sure is.
Jeez, I remember when the biggest issue there was if my fake ID would get me beer at the ‘vous.
What is CP?

UMCP = University of Maryland College Park (as compared to, for example, UMBC = University of Maryland Baltimore County or UMAB = University of Maryland at Baltimore (City))
Thanks-——is that the flagship U?
.
Yeah, but the others are big enough where it's helpful to distinguish.
Be nice to think that this might be indicative of a corner being turned, trendwise.
Shock. Awe.
This isn’t satire, is it?
One other thing...while UMCP is the "flagship", UMUC (University of Maryland University College) probably has more students...and UMAB is the home of the University of Maryland Medical School...and likely the best computer school in the University System is UMBC.
Wow...sanity
Thanks——I should have researched it myself, but FReepers are VERY helpful.
Ha, been there, done that
Its nice to see some adults on the staff.
Thanks——my granddaughter had looked there,but I don’t know which campus-——,she did end up elsewhere,though.
The entire college process is so complicated today it boggles the mind.
.
- Cornell University recently hosted a cry-in, complete with hot chocolate and tissues for disappointed Hillary Clinton supporters.
- University of Pennsylvania brought in a puppy and a kitten for therapeutic cuddling.
- Tufts University held arts and crafts sessions for students.
- University of Michigan Law School scheduled an event for this Friday called Post-Election Self-Care With Food and Play with stress-busting self-care activities including coloring, blowing bubbles, sculpting with Play-Doh and positive card making.
- Brown University campus, “equipped with cookies, coloring books, bubbles, Play-Doh, calming music, pillows, blankets and a video of frolicking puppies ...”
My old school. They had a fair number from US European bases who attended.
Shocking is an understatement In liberal Maryland. WOW. Now if more “educators” would grow a pair & do the the same we might actually get some people who are educated coming from our Universities.
