I just voted in SW Virginia. Rural area, goes usually about 58-42 for the good guys (or at least the less-evil guys). More cars than usual for off year elections but no real wait inside. This was about noon. I'd guess that it was half of 2016 (Trump), and about equal to when Cuccinelli lost a very close race without any establishment help in 2013 to McAuliffe. Although the Dems have an edge in VA now, I still think it is very winnable for Republicans. My hope is that we pull out a win in a close election. For those conservatives sitting out because Gillespie is kind of gutless, I know you won't listen but it still needs to be said. You are not helping.
And the bulk of Fairfax County has not reported yet. I call the race for Northam at this point.
Projection: Justin Fairfax (D) has been elected VA Lt. Gov., defeating Jill Holtzman Vogel (R).
Goodness! Hope he's not series...
Trump’s economy will keep getting stronger and POTUS needs to keep pushing the good economy and then the rest of the agenda will fall in place. The dems are toast in 2018 and can hang onto some VA win that was always going to be a cake walk for them.
It doesn’t matter who runs against Kaine. Ksaine will win easily. VA is a solid blue state.
Virginia consistently elects the most scurvy Democrats...Kain, Warner, McAuliffe.... Seriously none of them is any better than the party’s worst. It’s sad what’s happened to Virginia...full of lobbyists and FedGov drones now, I guess....
Yep.
Hes got all the free publicity behind him.

yea sure..lol
That area has always been a huge tech area and federal government area. the issue is illegals and immigration over all.
Anyone who grew up around that area KNOW how much it’s changed in just 10-15 years. BS on it’s all the lefty techies.
Sure. Any excuse for the Amnesty GOP-e to keep the cheap labor express moving.
It looks like the Dems will make major gains in the House of Delegates. Lots of incumbent Reps going down tonight.
My barber told me about that. One of his customers is a retired Admiral and surgeon and he was telling everyone in the shop that Northampton never set foot in Iraq.
“Eds up over a point in Chesterfield County... but dont know if thats still a bellwether. Used to be!”
FROM Chesterfield: unfortunately when the Gop wins statewide Chesterfield is +15.Not good. The Establishment refused to fund Cucinelli not they get their try doing it their way.Alot of refugee resettlement has taken place here during the Obola years. The only hope is Virginia is still photo ID to vote and the optical (hackable) machines have been replaced. All paper ballot backup now.
OMG - The Tranny Danaka is Winning ...
This helps Trump .Dont ever screw with Trump. He is the man of the people if you even look like a rino you are post toastie.
Rinos must leave our party.
Fox Business says it’s still within the margin of error, too close to call. But, Carl Rove is not optimistic.
Ah, well.
Supposedly Northern VA reports last?
Let this be a lesson to all Republicans not on the Trump Train, if you don’t get on, you’re going down.
Ed’s distance from Trump is the reason Dems will have difficulty making the anti-Trump case. To the contrary more Trump would have done the job. I still think he will win. The monuments issue is a clue.
