I am a professor on the campus and It was crazy with the upper administration pissing themselves over this latest “incident”.
The last incident happened a couple of weeks ago when a Jewish religious symbol was damaged. Our administration came out with strongly worded letters to the university community decrying anti-semitism and even scheduled a “unity dinner”. Come to find out, the WIND from a storm front was the culprit for the religious symbol being damaged.
You would think people would wait for the facts before jumping to conclusions? Nope, everybody including President Myers (I happen to like him) and the Deans all line up to lecture us. It gets old.
I could go on but you get the point.

Another fake hate crime outed today above.
My fave fake one was the “poop swastika” at U of Missouri two years ago. Likely out there by a black student after he got into an argument with a Jewish student it led to the “can we get some muscle over here” protest.
