'If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive': Will Wheaton belittles faith-based beliefs
Daily Mail ^ | 11-06-2017 | Chris Spargo

A former child star found himself under attack on Sunday after he managed to impugn the religious beliefs held by millions of Americans in a tweet slamming Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

Will Wheaton responded to the deadly shooting at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs on Sunday by tweeting: 'The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s***.'

He fired off that tweet in response to Speaker Ryan's boilerplate response to the attack which left 26 dead, in which he stated: 'Reports out of Texas are devastating. The people of Sutherland Springs need our prayers right now.'

My wife’s nephew is just like him. Snotty, self-righteous, arrogant I went to college I know everything and very militant atheist full of hate for Christians and Jews. No one can stand to be around the little turd. He is passive aggressive, will rip you on Facebook and email and then is timid and quiet in person.

He was on the last episode posted on Hulu, THIS season. In a very prominent role -- Professor Proton.

I've watched my last BBT unless they drop him.

GOD answers prayers according to HIS PLAN, not ours. As the mother of a Murdered Child, it took me time to learn that lesson, even though I’ve been a committed Christian since 14. You still ask why, and beg for your Loved One back. You still have Grief Syndrome 28 yrs later too.

And the devil whispers GOD should have heard you...

“Faith” in background searches also failed, Will Wheaton.

But that won’t stop liberals from “preaching” for further impeding of our Bill of Rights, eh, Will?

Wheaton lives with generalized anxiety disorder and chronic depression.

As would anyone whose career peaked and has been on the downside before they ever lost their virginity.

Just like the high school quarterback who now leads" the night shift at WalMart.

Just about everyone associated with BBT is a big-time Trump-hating liberal.

Everyone has an opinion and they don't have to be like my own.

That said, as long as they don't insert their opinion into the shows and pass it off as "entertainment" I cool with it.

I will continue to watch BBT, unlike SNL, most of the NFL and a long list of shows I used to watch until they insisted on being "informative" instead of entertaining.

“I do not know why these morons keep thinking that the Almighty Father sits and watches all the happenings on Earth as if we are nothing but a bunch of chess pieces that He moves around for various reasons on a daily basis.”

Well, they don’t really think that because they don’t believe God exists. They think that WE who do believe in God think that, even though we don’t.

In other words, they set up a silly straw man, then poke holes in it and slap themselves on the back congratulating themselves on how smart they are, even while they are failing at basic logic.

(SPOILER) They rebooted the show-within-the-show. Wheaton is the new Professor Proton. So, looks like he’ll have a reason to be a regular guest character.

'If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive'

All this proves is that Will Wheaton knows nothing about Christianity and Prayer.

Maybe one of his experiments will blow up and he is killed. Then he and the original Professor... played by Bob Newhart will end up being summoned by Sheldon in his dreams whenever he needs help.

It depends on what you really believe God for. Many Christians do not understand the extent The LORD will go to when you believe in Him for something, such as protection. Many people go under the belief that bad things happen to good people. It’s a very comfortable belief. Whatever happens to you your faith is all it can be. You do not have to seek deeper things with The LORD. You don’t have to pray always and also do the perceived difficult thing, fasting. It is a safe belief, until it isn’t.

Yet another one with mental health issues. Does that mean he’s going to go crazier one day & kill a bunch of people, too?
