From what I’ve read a lot of churches already do that. Usually there’s more than one person armed.

Every pastor should have a Sergeant-at-Arms in the body of the Church. Maintains protocol.
The reason you are so correct, is because leftist communist types and organizations believe religion “is the opiate of the masses”, as their god stated, and the “solution” can only ultimately be the end of Christians and religion!
We cannot have total allegiance and faith in a centralized all powerful man controlled state, at the same time a large percentage of citizens within the same jurisdiction believe in individual responsibility and individual freedom granted by God!
