Reality....The guy was gunning down people all around. If you were within his range....you were shooting in self defense.

And as it stands, they're saying he took his own life.

Yup, no doubt wounded (why he dropped his weapon and fled) by the good samaritan. Then, after he was stuck in the field, put a gun to his head to end it cause he knew that was it.
