At least 27 people have died after a gunman opened fire at a church in Texas during Sunday services.
The attack happened at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs in Wilson County.
A police commissioner at the scene confirmed that at least 27 people had died. Several others are reported to be injured.
The San Antonio FBI branch said its agents had been deployed, and there was no indication of the gunman's motive.
The FBI also said that while only one shooter was reported, it was looking into other possibilities.
Local ABC affiliate KSAT 12 reported the gunman entered the church at around 11:30 local time (17:30 GMT). It also said he had been killed in the aftermath.
Photos and video from the scene showed the area taped off by local law enforcement.
A number of helicopters have arrived to transport the wounded, KSAT 12 reporter Max Massey said.
Texas governor Greg Abbott said: "Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response."
He said more details would be released by the Texas Department of Public Safety shortly.

They shouldn’t need a permit to exercise their constitutional rights

According
to concealedcarry.com, concealed carry is banned in only two states, Nebraska and Louisiana. It requires permission from a church leader in seven states, Arkansas, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, and South Carolina. In the other 41 states, you have the right to conceal carry in church just as you do in other private property.
The church may ban the practice, just as you may in your own home. But there is no law to prevent you from exercising the Second Amendment in church.

I don’t think concealed carry is a reality in New Jersey.

Atheist? Islamist? Just plain crazy???

Or just the “deep state” FBI, CIA marxists installed by Obama trying to foment a race war so totalitarian government will be “forced” to suspend the constitution. Vegas was fishy to me and this seems not to be coincidental. Just food for thought. They are forcing Americans of diverse ethnic backgrounds to assume a “white” identity. When accomplished, a civil conflict between “whites” and “blacks” will be ignited. Trump will be forced to maintain order and will be blamed . This is pure conjecture on my part but not out of the realm of possibility

There are a few people who can get permits in New Jersey.
But outside of those, you may be correct.

As if MSNBC gives a hoot about what goes on in “a house of worship”, except from Satan’s perspective. Satan probably gives a hoot.

The rule should be, when you are planning a massacre and leaving in a blaze of infamy, START KILLING WITH YOURSELF, then get to the others.

I’m not an MSNBC fan but they are live TV and they have sources ... right now the Texas Attorney General is on but he has no new information. Looks like they’re setting up for a news conference so we might get some new information soon.

"White God-fearing Christians and white country music fans.
A pattern yet?"
Meth, opioids and police who aren't being trained to arrest them in their early marijuana stage.
Recently, a rumor about "the feds" looking for drugs traveled around a small town. Another rumor made its rounds about the local police looking for drugs in restaurants. Then, a stranger--probably a cop--appeared at a restaurant counter to ask employees about where he could get some pot.
That's not the way to do it.
For a look at the underbelly of the new white slavery in America, enter the keywords, juggalos documentary (without quotation marks), at YouTube. [Caution: vulgar language, obscenity, etc.] And no, it's not only the Juggalos. It's all over the place and has no identity tag.
Their parents and grandparents only care about their own cash flow and not enough about their grandchildren to get smart and homeschool them against drugs and other libertine behaviors. Many of them go to church, though, where ranting exclusively against men continues alongside messages excusing them from the original moral Law.

MSNBC reporting the shooter was from Comal County, TX. Google says that’s just northeast of San Antonio.
