Securing North Korean nuclear sites would require a ground invasion, Pentagon says
The Washington Post ^ | November 4, 2017 | Dan Lamothe and Carol Morello

Posted on 11/04/2017 9:17:24 PM PDT by be-baw

The only way to locate and secure all of North Korea’s nuclear weapons sites “with complete certainty” is through an invasion of U.S. ground forces, and in the event of conflict, Pyongyang could use biological and chemical weapons, the Pentagon told lawmakers in a new, blunt assessment of what war on the Korean Peninsula might look like.

*snip*

The letter also said that Pentagon leaders “assess that North Korea may consider the use of biological weapons” and that the country “has a long-standing chemical weapons program with the capability to produce nerve, blister, blood and choking agents.”

The Pentagon repeated that a detailed discussion of how the United States would respond to the threat could not be discussed in public.

I think, and I reiterate think the deal has already been made. Why is Xi consolidating so much power? Trump made a deal with him. We are far and above China’s largest market. Their economy has sputtered a bit in the last few years and if Trump imposes any restrictions that house of top down cards crumbles. It is why I asked about who were ousted. Xi is only 64. Hardly an old school Chinese hegemonic leader. I honestly think, and I reiterate think that Xi came away from Mar A Lago with an I scratch your back you scratch mine deal.

Depends -enough shock and awe (not the Bush kind - the real kind) and the NORK soldiers may do away with some of the more “loyal” officers and surrender wholesale and greet the conquerors as heroes....Make it clear to those that do the fighting that it’s either surrender or extermination and we might find out where fear outweighs fear-generated “loyalty” - we have no idea of the true morale levels among the soldiers.

“Why is Xi consolidating so much power?”

Because he can.

Panda-face is a Mao wannabe, complete with his own little book of sayings. His grab was likely in the works long before he met with DJT. Xi had a reputation of extreme brutality before his rise, so his consolidation of power should not be surprising. As to who was ousted, likely anybody who had their own little fiefdom - including some whose domains included NoKo.

We have weapons that will take out N. Korea’s nukes with pinpoint accuracy. All the centrifuges will be gone. All the missiles will be a pile of rubble. The Pig will be roasted like a Pig in a pit. A regime change will free the people from the slavery that bearing the cost of this nuclear madness has brought.

There will be precision bombing and precision EMP. The NK army will not even be able to start up their trucks. Running any kind of guidance system will be gone. The NK army would starve with no food supply.

Note following from more than 3 years ago and continuing today:

“British components in North Korean rockets, UN finds
Sanctions against the secretive state have not stopped it from sourcing parts from the UK, US and South Korea for its rockets”
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/northkorea/10726798/British-components-in-North-Korean-rockets-UN-finds.html

Problem is supply routes through NK border with China, shipping at ports and traffic through its airports.

But real problem is uranium supply.

Note George Webb has uncovered/carried forward evidence and conclusions that weapons-grade uranium supplied to Pakistan with involvement of Awan spy ring complicit with Uranium One actors. With known proof following 9-11 that Paki nuclear scientist Khan gave NK secrets of nuclear bomb design, I STRONGLY INFER Pakistan involvement in supply weapons-grade uranium to NK.

Ergo, rogue actors of Pakistan military are real enemy behind NK. Pakistan’s 111th ISI is likely source. They are behind the Awan spy ring and are tied to Hezbollah.

Deep State Petraeus must be controlled along with his tag team member McCain.

General Mattis may have covertly found/used tactical kinetic energy weapons. Just a ‘coincidence’ that earthquakes destroyed NK nuclear facility killing 200.

http://www.businessinsider.com/air-force-rods-from-god-kinetic-weapon-hit-with-nuclear-weapon-force-2017-9

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/23/world/asia/north-korea-earthquake.html

If McCain exposes that Mattis ordered kinetic strike of NK, he will be a confirmed traitor. McCain and Petraeus want massive ground war because it streams $$$ massively to their camp with Deep State democrats, it changes control of news cycle propaganda from Awan/U1/Podestas/Clintons to warmongering Trump.

They refuse to say in public that our nukes could do it without invasion.

“Running any kind of guidance system will be gone.”....

Living the past 80 years, there is one thing I have learned........that is to “Never say never”.

I have no doubt that NK has a number of initial options they can/will call upon to ward off an initial attack PROVIDING they have time to put them to use. Stealth will be the deciding factor to prevent them from using their options.

Excellent analysis! My mind has been nibbling around the edges of what you’ve just stated for awhile now. I’m glad to see I’m in good company. :)

Mattis did help Petraeus with COIN but with the dishonorable METHOD of his dismissal by his community-disorganizer-in-chief I hope he was antagonistic in some points. Korea is Mattis’ greatest challenge and I hope all his reading will be useful. Haven’t heard if he has read the Old Testament though.

Iraq I, 1991:

Same was said about the tunnel entrenched Iraq army. The 3rd largest and most powerful in the world. Dozer blades on the front of armor simply buried them all alive. Many 10’s of 1000’s.

Blow the shafts, bury it all.

There is no way any sane Western leader would promote Communist China expanding its power by physically occupying and controlling North Korea.

Sooooo... would you prefer rocket man or Xi in charge of North Korea? Why did Xi consolidate power in his hands?

.
>> “In other words, we need to decisively win the original war?” <<

Douglas Mac Arthur got fired by Truman for making it plain that he was going to do exactly that.

Truman knew that his job was to get communism firmly enscounced in East Asia. That is why FDR was taken out of the way.

Then why would we want them occupying China?
