The “no-knock” raid by agents who picked the lock on Manafort’s front door turned up records showing the longtime political operative had been directly involved in a secret lobbying campaign on behalf of a Ukrainian political party closely aligned with Vladimir Putin’s Russian government, according to the court papers. Manafort, who ran Trump’s campaign for several crucial months last year, has been charged, along with his longtime business partner Rick Gates, with running a scheme to conceal and avoid paying taxes on millions of dollars in fees they collected for their work.

The FBI raid stuff is just more over the top stuff coming from thr Trump Haters-Russia Haters in Washington.

Its dangerous stuff fueling emotions that could lead to war.

He was working for the Podesta group.

All roads lead back to Hillary on this. MSM is spinning it, but it exonerates Trump of Russian ‘collusion’ and has it heading back for Podesta and Hillary next step.

I’d bet this Politico claim of finding records at Manafort’s home is complete disinformation. Perhaps a cover for info obtained in a completely illegal way.

Despite occasionally admitting the truth, Politico is above all another Leftist propaganda site.

I’d like to know the basis of the warrant. Why did a judge sign the no-knock warrant?

I smell poisoned fruit.

I’m afraid they found stuff in Manafort’s home that’s exculpatory for Trump, and incriminating for Hillary, so they could destroy it.

evidence crucial to the indictment of Donald Trump’s campaign chairman

You know, of course, that had this been a Democrat that the campaign never would have been mentioned, or at the very least it'd be 'disgraced and fired' before mentioning the position.

Had a ride today with someone crowing about it, I asked if there was a hot tub time machine involved or something... Wha? Well, you know, for incidents that happened in 2012 or before while working for Podesta...

If true, and it probably is not, but why would he leave incriminating stuff laying around.

“Ukrainian political party closely aligned with Vladimir Putin’s Russian government, according to the court papers”

typical fake stream media lie. the “court papers” didn’t use the word “russia” once nor did it use the word “trump” once either.

Why would someone as intelligent as Manafort keep incriminating evidence in his house? When Mobsters know better.

People think the 4th amendment protects people against unreasonable searches, but if you put the text under a microscope you can read in really fine print “This does not apply to persons associated with Donald Trump.”

So why didn’t they do that with Hillary’s server ... don’t tell me there aren’t two sets of laws, one set for us, the other for the Clintons.

No biggie. Manafort is an old DC operator, and everyone knew his game. He was low hanging fruit that Mueller was set to pick at his leisure.
