Paul Manafort, the onetime chairman of President Donald Trump's campaign, has been indicted along with his former colleague, Rick Gates. The indictments mark the beginning of a new phase in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. The timing of the indictment suggests that Mueller is pursuing a legal strategy typically reserved for cases involving drug cartels and mafia families.

Yes. If this gets to open court, Manafort could sing Podesta, Podesta, and Podesta.
Don’t know if you noticed, but Trump got his first secret intelligence briefing in 17th of August and on 19th it was announced that Manafort has been fired.
I think there is a connection there.
Yes my comrade. A fundamentally changed one.

But what comes around, goes around.
Also, all of this could easily boomerang on McCrisis:
"This has led to regular accusations of double standards of a politician [McCrisis] whose inner coterie of advisers is dominated by past or present lobbyists with clientele drawn from top corporations and unsavoury foreign governments. The firm owned by Rick Davis, the man leading McCains re-election campaign, represented the former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovich, in contravention of US foreign policy which supported the opposition. Yanukovich was furthermore an ally of Russias Vladimir Putin, who has been the target of fierce criticism by McCain."
I know what Sessions is doing also...Nothing of significance!!!
With all the low-hanging fruit of crime and conspiracy committed by the Clintons and DNC and there is not one shred of effort that there is a serious investigation.
Trump, Fire him now!
“Manafort goes way back and could very well blow-up in the faces of the DIMS.”.....
Exactly who would you suggest will be the one(s) to go after those “DIMS”? I’ll wait for your suggestions.
....I found it interesting that Trumps first confidential national security briefing was on 17th August and he fired Manafort on 19th.
Manafort was part of the Trump campaign for about 3 months... from May 19 to Aug. 19.
Thanks for the info. Interesting...
Check your calendars, it's nearly November. Any "deal" has expired without interest.
This is all Mueller got for his efforts: Manafort. This is it. Show's over.
Manafort once worked for the Trump campaign that’s all the connection Mueller needed . How he connected Manafort to something outside the Trump/Russian was a mere coincident perhaps or not but the S/P has the authority to branch out in these cases ,,, like it or not .
Fixed headline for ya... :)
Someone has to help me with this.
We elected President Trump because we were tired of District of Corruption shenanigans.
So, what does The Swamp dish us up?
Another heaping plateful of shenanigans.

During his campaign for the presidency in 2004, Yushchenko became seriously ill from dioxin poisoning in an apparent assassination attempt; his face was left permanently disfigured and pockmarked.
Mass protests, which became known as the Orange Revolution, followed a runoff round in which Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, backed by Kuchma and generally considered pro-Russian and cool toward western Europe as compared with Yushchenko, had been declared the winner.
The Supreme Court, after invalidating that result, ordered a second runoff to be held in December 2004. Yushchenko was officially confirmed as the winner the following month.
As president, Yushchenko quickly encountered difficulties. He faced a fuel crisis beginning in May 2005, and in September he replaced his entire cabinet, accusing it of incompetence. In the 2006 parliamentary elections, Yushchenkos party finished third, and eventually he was forced to approve the nomination of Yanukovych for prime minister.
A power struggle between Yushchenko and Yanukovych escalated in early 2007, when parliament passed laws that seriously curtailed Yushchenkos authority. In particular, the new legislation ended the presidents right to reject parliaments choice of prime minister.
Who is RR?
Entirely plausible...All Manafort has to do is ask Mueller, 'what do you want me to say'???
If you are facing a number of years in a Federal Slammer and could get off scott free by telling a couple little lies, would you do it??? Nothing has to be proven to sway public opinion...
