Last week, the firm behind the contract for the Russian Dossier, Fusion GPS, requested that a U.S. District judge block congressional investigators from access, via a previous subpoena, to its bank records. The judge gave the House Intelligence Committee lawyers and Fusion GPS a week to see if they could work out a mutual agreement on the production of the records.
Yesterday the attorney’s for Fusion GPS and the House Intelligence Committee agreed to terms for releasing the bank records. The intel committee will receive the bank records to continue their investigation, but the documents will be sealed from public scrutiny:

During the week-long negotiations between Fusion GPS and congressional lawyers, multiple funding sources were mysteriously leaked. One of the leaks showed The Washington Free Beacon and billionaire Paul Singer initially contracted with Fusion GPS in 2015 for initial opposition research against candidate Donald Trump, seemingly for the benefit of WFB and Singer’s preferred candidate Marco Rubio. That commissioned research ended in March/April of 2016 when it was clear that Rubio could not win the nomination.

Not much sunshine on these bank records. Why do the culprits get to negotiate this? Why doesn't Congress and the Intel Committee just demand them?
Excellent. Now they can be leaked like how the Democrats do to all Republicans.
There shouldn’t have been any need for an “agreement.”

The public should be suspicious and express their disapproval every time some government entity withholds key information. Far too much withholding and redacting from both political parties, let alone the deep state bureaucrats.

WTF does that mean? Strongarm Fusion GPS and get the GD bank records. No “ agreement” (whatever that means) is necessary.
All I know is they got a Caligula Hussein appointed judge working this case (who is also “ coincidentally” working the Awan case). And the findings are gonna be shielded from the public, which makes zero sense.
Yep, under the agreement the Obama-appointed judge will review the material and decide what is relevant to release. Fair enough?

This is criminal..This is a prime example why Congress members leave the Congress, rich...they are bought off..
POTUS should step in and tell them, this is not going to stand..
HE WANTS TRANSPARENCY..AND AMERICAN VOTERS SHOULD DEMAND IT...
Hopefully that is all the agreement says. That doesn't preclude the committee releasing the names of those who paid in a report- just can't show the original documents.

I imagine Mueller sent his band of Clintoon “shysters” over to clean them up first.
Why doesn’t the public have a right to know ? The criminals and the criminals in Congress know. Typical tyranny .
