Joe Hech, a Mormon, was on track to win Harry Reid’s vacated senate seat until he publicly dissed Trump and his polls tanked. Rep. Mia Love-UT, a young black female, was a rising star until compelled imo to publicly repudiate DT. Maybe the SLC Mormon bigwigs are counting on converting hoards of illegals pouring into LDS-heavy Mormon states and wanted to stop the wall.
