.
The fact that Sessions is AG, and Mueller is a “special prosecutor” tells me that DT had no idea what he was doing.

He knows what he wants to do, but his actions so far are not accomplishing much of that.

He needs some more skillful help, but he has to seek it in the right places.

For the most part military top brass are not going to deliver it.

The fact that Donald J. Trump is now President of the United States tells me that he knows EXACTLY what he was doing. If he listened to a lot of people here on FreeRepublic over the last couple of years (including ME a few times) he’d probably be retired and playing golf every day right now.

Well I disagree with your assessment based on the info slowly coming to light. To me it seems that President Trump is quite a chess player. Methodically moving towards an end game. Russia collusion turned completely around. Loving it.

There remains a possibility that some of these department picks will be changed out perhaps at the end of the year.
It’s routinely easy enough to do smoothly and when it is done everyone walks away comfortable and replacements arrive in a dignified manner.

I know after the election of Trump, he was in a maddening rush to put together a cabinet, collect an experienced White House West Wing staff, and line up names of nominees to present to Congress to take over crucial federal departments.

I know that DC was in shock with the Trump victory and the word was out that no one should join his team in any form or fashion. Especially those with proven expertise, if they wanted to keep their reputations in tact.

Trump was therefore caught with a shrunken field of willing DC talent to bring on board, and the clock was ticking. It is obvious the man had to rely on others to help pick through the litter and in a hurry.

He relied on NEW YORKERS to do a lot of that recommending, and of course Bannon, who had a handle on the true believers, like Scott PRUITT, Mike Pompao, and goofy Amway Lady over at Education.

Are they all going to be perfect and geniuses? Probably not. The State Department is full of creatures and the Secretary can not or will not exterminate the place. Same with Sessions.

Those two picks are paralyzed or useless, for draining the Swamp. We seem not to know why that is.

I believe you will discover in the near future that you (and many others here) have been as fooled as the left by Trump’s maneuver, and that Mueller has been building the case against the Clinton Corruption all along.
