If state and local taxes are not allowed as deductions, those trapped in liberal states could see no benefit to this tax plan or could even see this as a tax increase. After years of carrying Republican water this would suck. On the political side, Trump needs to call his first TV address and tell everyone to watch their congressman vote and remove them from office if they do not support. It would be epic.
NO ONE is disclosing the proposed tax rates and brackets, but since my SALT deduction is $17.000.00 I could easily be hit with a $4250.00-$5270.00 federal tax increase.
