“an apology from the Trump Administration”....are they nuts??
An apology from the Trump Administration is a terrible description. It’s an apology and acknowledgment from the I.R.S. and the Justice Department, acknowledging that wrongs were committed. Those agencies are now led by Trump administration, but they weren’t apologizing for the actions of the people within the Trump administration.
I wonder if this is anything like when various governmental organizations intentionally lose lawsuits to be "forced" into doing what they want to do anyway. Get some court ordered swamp draining if the alligators are to thick to do it any other way.
