Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution states:
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 of the Constitution states:
The Congress may determine the Time of chusing [sic] the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.
Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 of the Constitution provided the original plan by which the electors chose the president and vice president.
the Twelfth Amendment in 1803—prescribing electors cast separate ballots for president and vice president—to replace the system outlined in Article II, Section 1, Clause 3.
Because they know their base is ignorant, and those who aren’t are stupid.....................
They make up lies because:
1) They know their base is under educated
2) They know that the lie will be received as ‘truth’ by their base
3) They know the lie received as truth will allow the attempt to do away with the EC to proceed.
Because they know from their internal polling and analysis that,for the foreseeable future at least,the Electoral College is their enemy.
Liberals LOVED the electoral college when they won it..do they understand how difficult it is for ANY Republican to win the White House with the electoral college the way it is..Democrats have an automatic advantage from the get go..they get California, NY, NJ and those states have the highest electoral count..it is the Republican who has the disadvantage but hey since a Republican wins the White House all of a sudden Dems don’t like it anymore. They would rather base elections on who wins California and New York

It’s typical Dem SOP: they just make it up as they go along. Like another poster said: the lame-stream media will never call them on it.

Here is something I noticed recently.
The way in which normal people understand stories, and the way in which the leftist understand the same story, is quite different.
Two examples:
1. Bernie Sanders completely misunderstands the Robin Hood story as pointed out this week by Ted Cruz.
2. hillary Clinton completely misunderstands 1984 as is clear when she tries to reference it in her book

Tom Perez is a ‘rat’...’rats’ are evil, dwell in sex (any kind), sleazy, crooks, liars, thieves, will do anything for a dollar, and I do mean ‘anything’...
Looking around at people like Obama, Clintons, bushes, lynch, holder, mclame, graham, schumer, Pelosi, Di-Fi, Dingy Hairy Reid, ‘rat’ Romney, John Kerry, and the list goes on and on, this is what the ‘rats’ are...

While their comments may in fact be lies, they might just as well be displays of their ignorance or wishful thinking.
It says what they want it to say subject to continuous and whimsical revision. It’s their idea of the rule of law. The truth is never am obstacle to a liberal.
