Smoking gun’ email claimed found in Eric Holder DOJ scandal

Among the many scandals of the Obama administration that went unnoted by the MSM was a massive political hijacking. Fines levied against financial institutions were diverted from the federal treasury into the coffers of left wing allies of the Obama administration.  Now, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee says he has proof of political bias in selection of nonprofit recipients.  Alex Pappas writes at Fox News:

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee claims he obtained a “smoking gun” email that proves the Obama Justice Department prevented settlement payouts from going to conservative-leaning organizations, even as liberal groups were awarded money and DOJ officials denied “picking and choosing” recipients.

“It is not every day in congressional investigations that we find a smoking gun,” Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said Tuesday. “Here, we have it.”

Yeah, so what’s gonna happen on this? Nothing. Fast and Furious? Nothing IRS? Oh they had to use tax payer money to settle with the Tea Party groups. VA? Nothing. Benghazi? Nothing.

BUTTTTT, if something can come out of this Clinton Russia scandal which goes all the way up to Obunghole well:-)

Many years ago, in a far distant administration, I had a senior manager propose having a company subject to $Millions in civil money penalties due to Treasury be allowed to make "Donations" (tax-deductible by the way) to a "Worthy Group" as an alternative to paying their NON DEDUCTIBLE penalties. The case had already been to several levels of judicial revue. I refused to agree and watched the individual closely thereafter!

Yes, you have identified the general motive but not the intent. The decision maker’s interior non-public general motive was reparations but the intent was to retain a financial power to suppress opponents and reward selected followers.
