I think this will help things too since it will present an aura of permanence and certainty.
Budget votes are generally party line votes. The fact that 20 Rs voted against the budget is disappointing.
Kevin Brady:
On November 1, we will introduce our tax reform bill that will deliver more jobs, fairer taxes, and bigger paychecks to people across our country. Beginning on November 6, the Ways and Means Committee will consider this legislation in a committee markup. “
That’s quick work, will be good to see what they’ve agreed to already.
So tired of media spin.
216?
We’re purging them as quickly as we can. Look at your own Speaker in TX!
Four of these people already said they won’t run again.
Here are the names of the 20 Republicans who voted ‘no’ on the budget.
Justin Amash, Michigan, Term ends January 3, 2019

This is the one with DACA and no wall?
I notice that the saloon hooker/rodeo clown Frederica Wilson was too busy bashing Trump to bother to vote.
What is in it???
Did we have to pass it to find out???
DACA???
Chain immigration, unlimited?
HB1 visa increase???
Np. It’s just the framework needed to advance to consideration of a real budget with real numbers. That will come Nov. 1.

So, the Democrats voted to shutdown the government.
Not that these birds can be trusted, but don’t kid yourself all of them were given permission to vote no. Nevertheless, I’m still never voting for Donovan. He was one of only 7 Republicans who got permission to vote no to stop sanctuary city funding. I know him personally and I know he would say “You know how I really feel but I had to vote that way.”
At any rate, once again Dem voters got their money's worth, unlike those that vote GOP.
no, that’s the resolution to keep the government open. Repukes are trying to do a pre-cave and negotiate against themselves.
A majority of the House is 218 but you only need a majority of those voting to pass it.
DACA and no wall then both the GOP and Trump are cooked.
bmp. Agree. But LAME-STREAM-MEDIA will FLIP-FLOP this claiming Republicans voted to SHUTDOWN Government.
Those 20 stupid Republicans.
Three more numbskulls and it would have been defeated.
And no Dems voted for it.
Might as well send them home and stop paying them.
