Excoriated as cold-hearted for his (reported) comments to the widow of a fallen soldier, President Trump responded to his latest critic -- a Florida Democrat -- via Twitter on Wednesday morning:
"Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!" Trump wrote.
Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) says she was listening on speakerphone to part of Trump's conversation with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was one of four American soldiers killed during a recent ambush in Niger.

Uh, based on my experience, anyone else on here “know what you signed up for” back in the day? As I recall, when my dad swore me in, I was basically agreeing to let the govt do just about anything they wanted with me up to and including death. Without any caveats or exception clauses.
This whole huff ‘n’ puff session is nothing more than “African Americans” going after PRESIDENT Trump again. It’s all bull****. If Obama had called the spouse and said the usual, “he died doing what he loved to do”, the maggots would be praising him for it.

Dems are continually throwing around fake news and accusations.
What will be revealing is, if the parents come out and make the same statements and accusations quoted by the Dems. If so, will Trump call their bluff and play his recordings?
Once played will the MSM ever carry the rebuttal, and correct their untruthful accusations? Or will they just report that Trump attacked the parents?
All one has to do is list all the corruption and outright illegal activities of the Obama Administration, the Dems in general, and the Clinton's that have been covered up and never reported by the MSM. Once listed it become evident that no matter what the truth is, only the Dem propaganda and accusations matter to a large segment of the US population.

This was a set up. If the widow had any part in it she should be ashamed as well. Their behavior is disgraceful.

This whole thing was a set up. Explains the question out of nowhere at Trump’s little press conference the other day about why hasn’t he called victims’ families? Since when has media and dems cared about the armed forces?
And then of course when Trump called they were lying in wait for him, ready to misrepresent and take out of context anything we was going to say. Sure they put him on speaker and probably recorded it, too.
This is so similar to the “Khan con” set-up of August 2016 - and yet there is Trump falling for it again - right down to the angry tweet-storm which just gives the MSM more noise to amplify.
If Trump does not go into those “press” conferences expecting to trapped then he should just stop doing them completely.
The dems and their MSM butt-buddies planted this rake, and he stepped on it.
