In clips of The Ellen DeGeneres Show supplied to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Campos reviewed the events of the shooting, recounting how he was alerted to check on a door that was ajar. He said he was on the stairwell going from the 31st to the 32nd floor and came upon a door that was blocked and wouldnt open. So he rerouted through a hallway and called security dispatch to get an engineer to check on the blocked door.
Campos said he then heard drilling sounds and believed the slamming of the heavy door he passed through to get to the 32nd floor alerted Paddock to his presence. Paddock shot through the door and hit Campos in the leg.

Campos seemed to acknowledge that he wouldnt revisit the events of Oct. 1 after his interview with DeGeneres.
DeGeneres said, Youre talking about it now and then youre not going to talk about it again, and I dont blame you because why relive this. Campos nodded.

Yeah, that's completely unsuspicious.
Ellen DeGeneres has a business relationship with MGM Resorts, the owner of Mandalay Bay, and they feature special "Ellen" slot machines in their casinos.
Must be dykes and fairies week ....
“Ellen DeGeneres has a business relationship with MGM Resorts, the owner of Mandalay Bay, and they feature special “Ellen” slot machines in their casinos.”
If there is that relationship, and he says he won’t speak after this appearance, then this circumscribed, crafted appearance is a PR plan and perhaps the most suspicious thing yet in this saga. Egads.
For those who don’t click on the article, be aware there is an 8 minute video clip linked in the article of Ellen interviewing Campos and Schuck.

“We speak now tonight, and these things are never spoken of again”
Why? We now know he wasn’t a hero or anything. It’s horrible the man was shot in the leg. However, there are many people who were severely and fatally wounded. Are they still going with this ‘hero’ nonsense?
here’s a link directly to the video interview
Ellen plays up the hero angle, saying Campos saved Schuck’s life and the life of a woman who poked her head out a room door and Campos told her to go back in her room.
Campos is extremely nervous and sweating profusely, perhaps Ellen is trying to make him feel better by telling him he’s a hero. Maybe he is simply nervous speaking in public.
Another interpretation of the extreme nervousness is that Campos is in fear for some reason.
Well, you can’t blame the guy for going on the show that offers the most bucks... Why give your story to the NYT when The Enquirer will give you 10 grand? This is his 10 minutes of fame and he has to make the most of it, before sliding back into oblivion. Hell, ICE might very well be waiting for him outside the studio door, ready to say, in their best ‘Mr. Wizard’ voice, ‘Time for this one to go home!’
Money. Ellen is covering for a business partner?
WTF?
How is FBI allowing this interview?
My tinfoil hat is secured tightly to my head...
I would think most of us, upon realizing our experience might be worth a few bucks would do the same thing.
Christmas isn’t cheap.
Campos seems to have been offered a deal to go silent after this interview. Ellen plays up the sympathy angle instead of any full cooperation angle— apparently pre-agreed.
It seems to me that someone got to Campos. Perhaps they agreed to pay Campos a lot of money to duck legitimate investigative journalists and news sources and go silent after this sham Ellen interview.
I don’t give Campos a year to live. The guy seems relatively intelligent. He should be aware of the dangers. I suppose the guy will probably transfer the money to his family in a trust and wait for a time when his back is turned for the the lights to go out. Maybe they threatened his family.
Side note, he rolls his r’s, so perhaps he was born in a hispanic speaking country, or at least in a predominantly hispanic speaking environment.
For people who didn’t watch the video:
Toward the end of the interview, Ellen says very clearly they are not giving Campos money for the interview. She said both Campos and Schuck insisted they did not want money for the interview.
She said Shutterfly is giving a check in Campos’ name to a victims’ fund, and that the NFL is giving Schuck tickets to see the Indianapolis Colts and that Shutterfly is giving Campos season tickets to the Oakland Raiders when they move to LV.
I think almost certainly the interview was arranged and controlled by MGM Resorts.
Big business, big banks, big government are our rulers in our Corporatist system and the truth is a stranger to them all.
Ellen DeGeneres has sold herself out to ‘the swamp, the system” call it whatever you will.
I used to be a religious hypocrite, it would be wrong to get all worked up about Ellen’s sexuality but her humanity seems to come up short here being reduced to being a stage prop for the ruling elite.
Ellen is such a shill.
Campos is probably getting 10-30 thousand to appear. Nothing wrong with that.
I would love to see the stairwell he is talking about that has hallways in it.
This is a must watch. Post 6
Meant seven “Meet the New Boss” post.
Does this help confirm reports that Campos is an illegal alien?
