President Trump warned on Tuesday that he would "fight back" after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) delivered a blunt denunciation of nationalist forces that was seen by many as a thinly veiled attack on the president.
"People have to careful, because at some point I fight back," Trump told WMAL radio host Chris Plante. "I'm being very nice. I'm being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back, and it won't be pretty."
McCain responded to Trump's comments moments later, saying that he has "faced far greater challenges than this," according to CNN.

You would think that McStain and people like him would have learned by now that attacking Donald Trump (or his supporters) was a no-win situation.
Isn’t “insanity” defined as, “doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result?”
Well, either McStain is insane, or that tumor has really gotten out of hand.

He certainly did not start the fire (an errant missile did), but when he dropped his bombs into the flames in a panic it made things much worse.

One of the last things I want to do is defend the scumbag McCain, so I won’t, but whoever wrote that isn’t very well informed if they think an A-4 Skyhawk has “engines”.

You are correct. And even though someone is a veteran does not mean he/she is a patriot. Remember, during the Vietnam War, many now veterans were drafted, which included many liberals.
Those bombs did not come from McCain’s plane, they came from the plane next to him that was hit. Regardless of the falsity, on the wing or on the flight deck, those bombs were going to cook off anyway. They had nearly ten of those thousand pound bombs cook off in the inferno.
A lot of people have a lot to say about that fire, and much of it is stuff they read on the Internet.
I know more about it because I have had a connection to the squadron and McCain himself.
Trust me. What you wrote isn’t true. Not attacking you, and especially not defending McCain...but I want our criticisms of him not to be dismissed out of hand, which the spreading of provable falsehoods makes it easier to do.

I’m with you...that is almost funny, but I didn’t pick up on it (the “engines” thing). We don’t have to defend him, but defending the truth makes it harder for McCain to defend what he has actually done, IMO.
Your comment is illogical. McCain is a sure vote for the Dems. If he leaves chances are better than 50% we will have a better chance of MAGA. Douglas Doucey (R) the Govenor of Arizona would appoint a Republican.
Were circumstances to require that McCain be replaced, that person would have to be a Republican, as McCain is, and would serve until the next general election, which happens every two years in Arizona. Whoever was elected would then fill out the rest of McCain’s term, according to state law.

If I read the accounts before, not including the loss of this plane, then McCain lost 3 other aircraft?

McCain is demented, blinded by envy & hatred. The most likely information says he paid for the dossier to bring down the Republican candidate for spite. That willingness to hurt Americans, just for revenge isn’t going to change this side of the great divide. McCain argued against any benefit increase to veterans, against looking for servicemen left behind, murdered 133 sailors by his carelessness. The man is evil and the fact that it was his turn to run for President against O tells you everything you need to know about the swamp.
That said I would rather McCain resigned before his crimes surfaced and that if not, the facts are brought out by the Justice Department or others rather than POTUS. POTUS has more important things to do than take out the trash.
