Your comment is illogical. McCain is a sure vote for the Dems. If he leaves chances are better than 50% we will have a better chance of MAGA. Douglas Doucey (R) the Govenor of Arizona would appoint a Republican.
Were circumstances to require that McCain be replaced, that person would have to be a Republican, as McCain is, and would serve until the next general election, which happens every two years in Arizona. Whoever was elected would then fill out the rest of McCain’s term, according to state law.

A senator cannot be recalled. And he is not about to be kicked out by his colleagues.
