When this one is over, Harvey won’t be the only one going to jail.
I hope.
...the offices defense has rested largely on insufficiency of evidence claims...
It worked for Hellary. Why not Harvey?
But those campaign funds...
[which requires prosecutors to establish criminal intent.]
where have we heard that before?
Are Michael Moore and Harvey Weinstein brothers?
Wonder how much Harvey donated to Cy’s last election campaign?
If Democrat Vance had indicted Weinstein in late 2015, it would have cost the Democrats a huge decline in direct and bundled Hollywood campaign donations. No doubt Hillary got the word to the puppy Vance to back off.
Wasn’t his DAD Jimmy Carter’s AG?
Harvey’s attorney made a $10,000 donation to Vance’s campaign. Or so I’ve read here.
Carter’s SOS.
The seemingly demonstrated pattern of ruining women’s careers for turning him down I think is a crime in and of itself.
“From the pages of sober financial journals to Hollywood's slapstick-econ adaptation of The Big Short, commentators often note that no American banks were indicted in the wake of the 2008 financial cave-in. Hoop Dreams director Steve James is here to say that's not true. In May 2012, New York's district attorney brought charges against Abacus Federal Savings Bank and 19 of its employees.
The case was little covered at the time, and while its outcome is a matter of public record, James prefers that reviewers not reveal whether the verdict was guilty, innocent, or mixed. That's because his Abacus: Small Enough to Jail is a compelling non-fiction thriller. It should engross most viewers, even those who've resisted learning what a subprime mortgage is.
As it happens, Abacus didn't deal in subprime. The Chinatown-based bank also didn't package its mortgages into the sort of financial instruments that made The Big Short's machinations so arcane. In fact, the bank had one of the lowest default rates in the country.”

“.. insufficient to prove a crime ..”
IMO prosecutors use that reason entirely too much, often without requiring additional investigation. And IMO this is particularly the case with DOJ attorneys and those working for the various Congressional committees.
It is simply a copout to cover for for laziness and mostly to protect a political ideology.
Perhaps a forensic audit of Cyrus Vance Jr.s bank account may be appropriate to illuminate how he reached his decision to not prosecute.
I think this is Emma Watson, the little girl from Harry Potter...being grabbed by Harvey Weinstein. Can anyone verify?
As Comey stated, no reasonable prosecutor would go after a friend of the Clintons. Another person might not expect to get away with this, but in this case - well laws were broken, but we don’t see criminal intent.
