I understand Mr. Campos had a series of interviews lined up which apparently have all been cancelled. Even president of the Security Police and Fire Professionals Union thought his disappearance seems, "Highly unusual".
And now we hear Mr. Campos has checked into some, "Clinic"? Isn't that what is done often when they want someone hidden from public view?
Yes, very sad. If their actual faith was stronger, not very many would be attracted to Islam.
There is a person who had contact with him a couple of months before the shooting and described him as terribly depressed.
“I don’t think I’ve seen a man as down as he was.”
The word “suicidal” is not there, and the guy is not a pro, so how good is it?

He said the shooter told him “his life was miserable”. That is typical of suicides.
Maybe that is what triggered the “suicidal” reference.
And the fact that he committed suicide, of course.
That was a Reno car dealer who never got Paddock’s name.

This investigation went down the rabbit hole.
Stephen paddock looks like a lot of 60+ white guys. There are pics and videos claiming he was at Harrahs in atlantic city last week. Have to admit... doppelgänger.
And with today's technology and given the fact the crime scene was a higher end hotel...Well, saying this was unusual and not a good sign would be an understatement from my perspective.
When the key player who's billed as a hero goes into hiding and disappears, people are going to speculate. He could be, who knows.
My thing right now with this event is Campos. To be honest, Campos going into hiding made me recoil when I initially read it. I was compelled to looked at several sources before I was convinced it was true.
Early on, one of the scenarios I thought possible was a crew of several people. Paddock had the hardware needed for a platoon, but the rest of his crew never showed up for whatever reason. But based and what became known, or what they’re reporting, that didn’t fit.

Regardless of speculation about motive, I believe there always is one whenever an act is intentional.
Of course. Even if this suspect was mentally ill and he falsely perceived being wronged...A motive still exists in his head.
The things that really make no sense are that he made $5 mill a year at video poker, that the casinos all comped him on everything to keep him coming back and taking their $5 mil a year, and the woman who told everyone that they were all going to die.
Those details really need to be addressed, because when you know there is something fishy with them, then you start to wonder about all the witnesses, including a US Marine, who said there were shooters on the ground who were moving toward them as they fired, the stable cyclic rate of the supposedly bumpfire stocks, the forensic analysis based on reports vs impacts that indicated two different ranges for the shooters, and the weird timing aspects of the attack that ended so quickly in suicide, despite him having almost another hour to shoot away.
