Chalk up the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal as one of the most unsurprising big media stories of the modern era. It's like when a magazine run by liberals and devoted to promoting and encouraging the "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" lifestyle flubs a story about campus rape. (And subsequently and quite deservedly gets sued into near oblivion.) In other words, almost no one should be surprised that a big-time Hollywood producer and film studio executive such as Harvey Weinstein is a sexual miscreant.
If you want to find a "rape culture," look no farther than Tinseltown. Hollywood is littered with men and women who are sexual predators and provocateurs ready and willing to take advantage of most anyone and any situation in order to satisfy their lust and greed. People who have no qualms about filling their movies and television shows with smut are also prone to filling their personal lives with smut.
I can think of no culture, no industry, no group of people less qualified to lecture anyone especially the culture at large about sexual immorality than the depraved, sex-crazed deviants that permeate Hollywood, USA. The smug Jimmy Kimmel whose early claim to fame was as the co-host of Comedy Central's trashy The Man Show should get nowhere near a compass of any sort, and especially not a "moral compass." Likewise, most every well known Hollywood actor, actress, producer, director, et al. has played a role in corrupting the sexual mores of America.

The liberal media will not investigate such matters since they are afraid what they would find out. That is why they did little investigating Obama and the Clinton Foundation. It’s up to conservatives to expose these sick hypocrites!
I liked the trashy Man Show. Ziggy zoggy ziggy zoggy hoy hoy hoy! And Girls on Trampolines!
They must have had him neutered.
And Hollywood has been that way since the 1920’s sex-and-murder scandals, the partying, the homosexuals and perverts and power-sex-casting couches have been entrenched for decades.
I think being around Sarah Silverman would do that.
The reason everyone is publicly going nuts is because they want to create the impression that they do not engage in this behavior themselves. The reason they want to do that is so they can continue this behavior themselves.
And yet they’ve been allowed to poison the culture, but people are finally getting wise.
It all began with the Hollywood Access tape where DJT was secretly taped describing the inner workings of Hollywood casting and what young women will do for a chance at fame.
Kimmel and Sarah Silverman were together for awhile. That is a tell for sure. I wonder how Adam Corolla manages to overlook Kimmel’s increasingly leftist position. Adam is much more conservative, leans GOP and even goes on tour with Dennis Prager. He hates HRC and the left wing a-holes who have destroyed CA.
No that’s gonorrhea and 17 strains of herpes...
They do poison the culture...
The best comment I read was that it was called “The Man Show”, as in singular. Adam Corolla I think ultimately was the only man on that show.
And “The Fox” (RIP)
I don’t know anyone that doesn’t want to see the Premier Rouge in Hollywood destroyed.
It’s not just girls wanting to get ahead in the entertainment industry. There are plenty of gals willing to fling themselves at famous men - just to brag about it with their pals.
The chaste, virtuous woman is a thing of the past - to say nothing of the virginal.
Have you ever heard a contemporary woman described, with respect, as “modest”?
Such are the morals of Hollywood. It's a moral cesspool.
Many years ago, my college drama teacher urged me to go with him to Hollywood to try our luck. I was a handsome young man and was very good in several college plays. Something told me not to. I'm not sure what. I stayed in college instead.
Another time, a man who was a close friend of a well known Hollywood actor (I suspected that they were more than merely friends) took a liking to me, and suggested that I might be successful at theatre in New York. I let that go too.
I see now that a Great Loving Providence was guiding me. At that age, I would have been destroyed by Hollywood.
THOSE WERE THE DAYS---No less a personage than mega-producer and Hollywood wonder-boy, Irving Thalberg, co-authored the Production Code, the set of moral guidelines that all film studios agreed to follow circa 1930-68.
WIKI The Motion Picture Production Code was the set of industry moral censorship guidelines that governed the production of most United States motion pictures released by major studios from 1930 to 1968. It is also popularly known as the Hays Code, after Hollywood's chief censor of the time, Will H. Hays.....a former postmaster.
The Motion Pictures Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA), which later became the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), adopted the code in 1930, began enforcing it in 1934, and abandoned it in 1968, in favor of the subsequent MPAA film rating system. The Production Code spelled out what was acceptable and what was unacceptable content for motion pictures produced for a public audience in the United States.
The office enforcing it was popularly called the Hays Office in reference to Hays, inaccurately so after 1934 when Joseph Breen took over from Hays, creating the Breen Office, which was far more rigid in censoring films than Hays had been.
The Code enumerated a number of key points known as the "Don'ts" and "Be Carefuls": Resolved, That those things which are included in the following list shall not appear in pictures produced by the members of this Association, irrespective of the manner in which they are treated:
1.Pointed profanity by either title or lip this includes the words "God," "Lord," "Jesus," "Christ" (unless they be used reverently in connection with proper religious ceremonies), "hell," "damn," "Gawd," and every other profane and vulgar expression however it may be spelled;
2.Any licentious or suggestive nudity-in fact or in silhouette; and any lecherous or licentious notice thereof by other characters in the picture;
3.The illegal traffic in drugs;
4.Any inference of sex perversion;
5.White slavery;
6.Miscegenation (sex relationships between the white and black races);
7.Sex hygiene and venereal diseases;
8.Scenes of actual childbirth in fact or in silhouette;
9.Children's sex organs;
10.Ridicule of the clergy;
11.Willful offense to any nation, race or creed;
And be it further resolved, That special care be exercised in the manner in which the following subjects are treated, to the end that vulgarity and suggestiveness may be eliminated and that good taste may be emphasized:
1.The use of the flag;
2.International relations (avoiding picturizing in an unfavorable light another country's religion, history, institutions, prominent people, and citizenry);
3.Arson;
4.The use of firearms;
5.Theft, robbery, safe-cracking, and dynamiting of trains, mines, buildings, etc. (having in mind the effect which a too-detailed description of these may have upon the morale); 6.Brutality and possible gruesomeness;
7.Technique of committing murder by whatever method;
8.Methods of smuggling;
9.Third-degree methods;
10.Actual hangings or electrocutions as legal punishment for crime;
11.Sympathy for criminals;
12.Attitude toward public characters and institutions;
13.Sedition;
14.Apparent cruelty to children and animals;
15.Branding of people or animals;
16.The sale of women, or of a woman selling her virtue;
17.Rape or attempted rape;
18.First-night scenes;
19.Man and woman in bed together;
20.Deliberate seduction of girls;
21.The institution of marriage;
22.Surgical operations;
23.The use of drugs;
24.Titles or scenes having to do with law enforcement or law-enforcing officers.
Not b/c they were ashamed of being outed....it's b/c they looked foolish and stupid as they engaged in all kinds of weasly activities.
Humphrey Bogart was forced to apologize....said he was duped (by the Hollyood Commie types) into taking a group of celebs to DC to protest McCarthy.
There once was a pervert named Harvey,
Who thought that his “package”was Marvey.
He’d have a small fling
Thought it didn’t mean a thing,
But the girls all thought him quite Barfy.
In 1964, famed star, Gloria Swanson spoke at the "Project Prayer" rally attended by 2,500 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Swanson declared, "Under God we became the freest, strongest, wealthiest nation on earth, Should we change that?"
The gathering, which was hosted by Anthony Eisley, star of ABC's Hawaiian Eye series, sought to flood the United States Congress with letters in support of school prayer, following two decisions in 1962 and 1963 of the United States Supreme Court which struck down the practice as in conflict with the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Joining Swanson and Eisley at the Project Prayer rally were Walter Brennan, Lloyd Nolan, Rhonda Fleming, Pat Boone, and Dale Evans.

WIKI---In 1964, actor Lloyd Nolan spoke at the "Project Prayer" rally attended by 2,500 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The gathering, which was hosted by Anthony Eisley, a star of ABC's Hawaiian Eye series, sought to flood the United States Congress with letters in support of school prayer, following two decisions in 1962 and 1963 of the United States Supreme Court which struck down the practice as in conflict with the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Joining Nolan and Eisley at the rally were Walter Brennan, Rhonda Fleming, Dale Evans, Pat Boone, and Gloria Swanson. At the rally, Nolan asked, "Do we permit ourselves to be turned into a godless people, or do we preserve America as one nation under God?"
Eisely and Fleming added that John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Roy Rogers, Mary Pickford, Jane Russell, Ginger Rogers, and Pat Buttram would also have attended the rally had their schedules not been in conflict.
"Project Prayer" was ultimately unsuccessful in its campaign to keep prayer in public schools.
The Court effectively changed the interpretation of the First Amendment from freedom 'of' religion to freedom 'from' religion. The ruling was intended to prevent the state from inappropriately advancing religion in the school room.
John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Charleton Heston, The Rat Pack.... all the greats.... wouldnt put up with these dictator-doting Marxists!
Those were the days......when Hollywood was a two-party town. Even the legendary movie moguls were solid all-American.
Now they're all raging liberals.
