And that's why there's a new sheriff in town by the name of Trump - who will smack down the left (and RINOs) each and every time they attack him. And who does not see his job as stopping the conservative base from fighting back, but as leading them and encouraging them in fighting back against EVERY LIE AND ATTACK of the left.
Those who think FR threads fighting each and every lie & attack of Hillary and her comrades are beneath them, should stay off the those threads and keep their praetorian noses down when they see other FReepers who follow Trump and fighting back against each and every attack/lie.

Trump has rendered the Left weak and vulnerable - but their dominance in the MSM, Hollywood and academia give them a false appearance of strength and numbers.
The democrats are foolishly staking out political ground that is at odds with the American people.
FR, Hannity and everyone else on the right who keeps Hillary and other Trump haters in the news only helps their cause by giving them a voice.
Even if our purpose of publishing their narratives is to mock them, or point out their lies, we are helping keep them relevant and providing life support to their otherwise dying breed.
For example, I pride myself in boycotting all of the “comedian” late night talk show hosts. I don’t watch MSM. I painstakingly avoid musical concerts, academy awards, college campuses, democrat conventions, or any other known leftist haunts.
Yet, I still get the leftist garbage shoved in my face - by whom? Hannity, FR, Tucker Carlson and other well meaning conservatives brands! Carlson invites the most horrible leftists as guests to “debate”. Hannity constantly plays video montages of the worst of the worst in leftist indoctrination. A majority of FR posts are leftist articles “for discussion” and so we can “be aware of what the other side is thinking”.
So, despite my best attempts at avoiding it, I wind up seeing all the leftist garbage anyway - thanks to conservatives with supposedly good intentions.
I say “supposedly” because I wonder sometimes whether the motive isn’t just ratings - do we conservatives have an unhealthy fascination with the fake news? Are we like the Romans at the colosseum, horrified by the gladiatorial blood sport, but transfixed nonetheless? Are we like the parents who look up internet porn all the time “to keep tabs on what the kids might potentially be exposed to”?
Why do conservatives constantly republish Leftist hit pieces, invite leftists onto conservative shows, and literally hand them the microphone? The Left is like the pathetic little man behind the curtain in The Wizard of Oz. Conservatives are providing the big stage, the megaphone and the special thunder effects to make them appear huge and fearsome. If only we had the sense to pull back the curtain, take away the megaphone, laugh at them and then proceed to ignore them.
