How about removing Congress and their staffs from exemption from ObamaCare and putting the entire Federal government except the military on ObamaCare. Meanwhile codify into law free market reforms like being able to sell across state lines, portability, health savings accounts, tort reform, and price transparency. Also remove the Cadillac tax. Do this all in exchange for these subsidies

Too bad you cowardly pukes. You are the ones who ran on repeal and replace. DO YOUR JOB

As much as the House has some problems, I think it is becoming blatantly obvious that most of this country's problems are being created by the Senate (now that Obama is gone, at least). People like Cornyn and Alexander need to face a challenger picked by Bannon and not the party so that we know we are being given a real choice.

“Key Republican members of Congress want to restore the ObamaCare payments ... Conservatives warn the payments to insurers are corporate “bailouts,” a message echoed by Trump on Friday.”

And that’s the crux of the problem: Republicans vs. conservatives. There are plenty of Repugs in Congress but precious few conservatives.

“Any Republican that supports this is not a Republican.”

Oh, they’re Republicans alright but are not conservatives.

Dims and Repugs are just different brands of the Big Government enterprise. Conservatives caucus with the Repugs because they have no where else to go.

The Republicans enriched themselves with Obamacare by the time Trump was elected. They don’t want it repealed.

Sounds like all of the healthcare decisions being made in Congress are FIRST judged by how they make a party look, politically.

Now there is a terrific starting block for “smart” legislation.

Didn’t realize the word “key” was a synonym for “dumbass” (first sentence)

I was told that the payments were un-Constitutional. So okay Congress make them Constitutional.

Spineless GOP cried every day about Obama bypassing Congress and ruling by executive order. So President Trump says, "Here you go! Legislate!"

Turns out Congressional GOP loved Obama's EOs the whole time because he gave them clean hands. "What can we do?"

Trump is again taking a page from Alinsky. Magnify your opponent’s contradictions, and make them live up to the values they claim to hold

It must really chap the dims hides to realize Trump is using their favorite tools against them.

Ha..Trump is smart enough to identify and use for his benefit some of the tools of the left

Alyinsky.,...ridicule and personalization

Trump is also using the Cloward-Piven strategy

Before the left have their focus groups...Delphi sessions...assessments....polling ...doner & special interest input ..etc etc ...

Trump hits them with another ...overloading the dims ability to respond.

Key Republican members of Congress want to restore the ObamaCare payments, known as cost-sharing reductions (CSRs), that President Trump is ending, fearing the impact his move will have on the individual insurance market and their constituents.

Yeah, can't have lower prices and more choices.

“Sounds to me like Trump is forcing Congress’ hands”

yep. just like he did with DACA.

It’s the only way the spineless GOP Congress can be made to do anything besides keeping their thumbs firmly wedged up their butts. plus it sends some well deserved pain to the do-nothing GOP Congress AND keeps them so busy trying to save their own arses that they no longer have time to go onto leftist talk shows to attack their own President.

Swampthings don’t change. Cheers to President Trump for forcing them to deal with the issue.

The only fear they have is the loss of donations to their campaigns from the insurance industry.

Yep. This is a simple payola scam. Fedgov subsidizes insurances companies and they in turn kick back some of it to the beltway.

Congressional Republicans are split...some say they want to maintain stability and protect people who are enrolled.

HEY RINO a-holes!

Protect people who are (and who aren't enrolled) by giving them cheap premiums without carrier bailouts.

"Sounds to me like Trump is forcing Congress' hands...again with more to come later."

I got my renewal letter from Blue Cross, I just can't afford it. For the first time in my life, I will have to go without insurance. I am hoping President Trump comes to my rescue.
