Harry Cohn, who founded Columbia pictures, was notorious for using the “casting couch”. This problem has existed since the industry started. I firmly believe though that Weinstein got a pass for so long because he was a Big L Liberal.
The pedos are networked in Hollywood and DC, and in the legal/political centers in the state governments as well.
It is bad enough that America has allowed the abortion of 60 million children(as well as the 40 million children that would have been born to those aborted children over the last 44 years) but it can no longer abide the child abuse and human trafficking occurring as we speak.
President Trump has already directed that efforts against pedos and traffickers be commenced, and over 1500 low level pedos have been arrested since Jan. 20th.
Since they roll up from the bottom, LEOs will be getting more and more of the bigger fish in time.
Perhaps as many as 75% of the political class in DC is involved or being blackmailed in some way.

The subject is never mentioned again, and it is easy to shrug this off as a comic gag, but from the very first time I read that interview, I wondered...
Mel Brooks is never subtle, but even for his brand of humor, this is/was a horrible accusation, and I just can't believe he made it just for a yuck-yuck in a Playboy interview.
Ergo, the question must be raised, "Was Mel just trying to be funny, or was he taking a rare opportunity to fire a shot across Hollywood's bow in a way aimed at stimulating curiosity, in what he felt was a significant problem?" It the latter was the case, it didn't work. It stayed in the interview, but nobody picked up on it.
This, causes me to wonder what we would find if someone were to take a very close look at Peter Hyams and his relations with minors. But the real rot is sure to run much deeper. Indeed you can get the sense that the leftists in general and Hollywood, in particular, are desperate to throw Weinstein to the wolves in the very passionate hope that the mob will be satisfied with his corpse, and not go sniffing around Tinseltown, where the slightest amount of digging is bound to reveal a lot of unpleasant realities.
And yet, BJ Clinton is still a rock star to progressives.
