SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Celebrities in Arizona for rehab is nothing new nowadays, but what is rare is spotting the celebrity out and about. Harvey Weinstein is in the Scottsdale area, beginning rehab for sex addiction, but he had dinner with six friends, avoiding the typical hot spots in Old Town --instead opting for a low-key restaurant in a south Scottsdale strip mall -- Uncle Sal's, which is no stranger to notoriety.
Uncle Sal's has been a neighborhood favorite for nearly three decades. The wife of notorious mob hitman, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, opened it up in 1988. Gravano was released from an Arizona prison on parole in September after spending 17.5 years behind bars. He pleaded guilty to running a high-dollar ecstasy ring.
"It is great Italian food. We've been dining there for years and years. Sal was a great owner. I'm sure that's why he chose it," said Cooper Merrill. Now, another notorious name is shining the spotlight on the restaurant: Harvey Weinstein. The scandal-plagued film producer dined there on Thursday, then reportedly checked himself into a nearby sex addiction rehab facility on Friday. The name of that facility hasn't been released. Weinstein arrived in Scottsdale on Wednesday night and had been staying at the Phoenician resort. "I was surprised to see him out at all," said Merrill. "I did think he would stay at a hotel and not be out in public.”
According to TMZ, at first glance, you couldn't tell Weinstein was in the eye of a storm of sexual harrassment claims worldwide. One witness said, "He was acting normal, fine, like he didn't have a care.”
Employees at Uncle Sal's declined to comment on their celebrity guest. "Uncle Sal's is a staple here in Scottsdale. Everybody comes here. I'm sure he heard how great it was," said Merrill.
Weinstein is the latest celebrity to choose to attend rehab in Arizona. Tiger Woods, Selena Gomez, Whitney Houston and Kate Moss are among other famous names who have completed rehab stints here.
Chivalry in Hollywood? Surely, you jest. On second thought...Harvey's puffy, pock-marked face resembles dioxin poisoning. Hideous.
I thought about responding, but when you have drunk that much Kool-Aid? They have moved into DNR territory. This is triage with the left at this point, we won't be able to save all of them.

from what I read of supposed rehab Scottsdale has an outpatient location in scottsdale. was hoping he’d go to inpatient location in Wickenburg.
And it’s not saying great things about the rehab’s work to list celebs who did not remain clear of usage/addictive nature after their rehab there
Jennifer Lawrence response about the rapist.
‘I was deeply disturbed to hear the news about Harvey Weinstein’s behavior,’ Lawrence said in a statement to People Magazine.
‘I worked with Harvey five years ago and I did not experience any form of harassment personally, nor did I know about any of these allegations. This kind of abuse is inexcusable and absolutely upsetting.
‘My heart goes out to all of the women affected by these gross actions. And I want to thank them for their bravery to come forward.’

It seems to me that Trump had made an observation--albeit crude--about how men in certain positions of power can abuse women any way they want, and Weinstein has emerged as a prime example of Trump's observation.
There is still no evidence that Trump has ever treated women the way he said that the rich and powerful routinely get away with. And merely making the observation does not, in fact, make him worse than those behaving in that manner.
It isn’t an issue that he was having sex with too many people, and that he tried to stop himself and found that he couldn’t. Sex addition isn’t an official psychiatric diagnosis because it primarily exists to allow the perpetrator to escape responsibility for the consequences of his actions. But I do hope that if he is sincerely remorseful there are counseling programs available.

We were out to dinner in Scottsdale last night and actually kept an eye out for Swinestein. =)

And yes all these various “addictions”: shopping, food & sex are absolute crap excuses for choosing to not use self control. People need to grow up & own their weaknesses.
