Whos next?
Now that Harvey Weinsteins reign of sexual terror is over, the answer is, hopefully, several of Hollywoods most durable, liberal, ostensibly politically correct leading men.
Until two days ago, Ben Affleck was mainly perceived as his own worst enemy. Then he issued a statement condemning Weinsteins behavior.
I am saddened and angry that a man who I worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women over decades, Affleck wrote in part. This is completely unacceptable, and I find myself asking what I can do to make sure this doesnt happen to others.
Rose McGowan, who settled with Weinstein after an incident at Sundance in 1997, tweeted that Affleck had more than one chance back in the 90s.
McGowan claimed that she told Affleck directly that Weinstein had attacked her. In a tweet directed to Affleck, she wrote: GODDAMNIT! I TOLD HIM TO STOP DOING THAT! You said that to my face. The press conf I was made to go to after assault. You lie.
Next came videos of Affleck, in 2003 and 2004, groping young female TV hosts. He apologized to one on social media and has since remained silent.
I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014, tweeted makeup artist Annamarie Tendler, who said Affleck also pressed his finger into my crack. Her claims were backed up by Jen Statsky, a writer for The Good Place and Broad City.
I was also at this party and multiple friends had this exact same experience, Statsky tweeted.
As shocking as the Weinstein allegations are, his behavior, were often told, is generational. And Weinstein is the latest in a long line of old, rich powerful men

The best part about this is all of these strong, feminist women, from “Nasty Girl” Ashley Judd to tough old Jane Fonda to Meryl Streep to the ultimate genius Hillary Clinton have gone from outspoken feminists to stuttering dunces either crying weaker sex, becoming apologists for locker room behavior a la grabbing her by the pussy or playing the fool by claiming ignorance of a culture that is blatantly rampant.
It’s ok when a Democrat rapes and sexual assaults and demeans women.
It’s right here in the fake legacy news media play book.
This is gettin’ GOOD! And what makes it so funny is I have made it a point to go out of my way to NOT watch anything from that cesspool called hollywood in years!
In the middle of Ashley Judds crying havoc about others reporting Weinsteins forgot that she didn’t report on it either.
No sympathy. She wasn’t ready to risk her career but sure as hell wanted others to risk their career.
You took the words out of my mouth! I’ve been muttering this all week.
It sounds like a collective nervous breakdown by Progressive Obama lovers. The Trump victory keeps on winning.
Casey denied all wrong doing, but the lawsuits were both settled confidentially, which almost certainly means Casey Affleck paid money to the women.
Here's another story not being discussed...
In the early 1970s, at the start of her career, Meryl Streep auditioned for a New York play that was being directed by the already famous Dustin Hoffman.
According to the NY Daily News: “Streep and Hoffmans first meeting earlier didnt bode well for a fruitful relationship. Hoffman is reported to have said, Im Dustin burp Hoffman, before placing his hand on her breast while she auditioned for a Broadway show he was directing."
Decades ago, I recall Streep talking about this. She said Hoffman “squeezed” her breast.
In any event, Streep went on to work with Hoffman again in “Kramer vs. Kramer.”
Streep also gave a standing ovation to Roman Polanski at an award ceremony in Europe a few years ago, even though Polanski was convicted of drugging and raping a teenage actress.
And look how vocal they all were the very second that Trump’s Access Hollywood tape was released by Clintoon Inc!
Et tu, Ben Affeck and Jane Fonda, et tu? Is nothing sacred? Hopefully more chips will fall on more loud mouthed preening celebs.

Jack Woltz from The Godfather:
I was gonna make her a big star. And let me be even more frank, just to show you that I’m not a hard-hearted man, and that it’s not all dollars and cents: She was beautiful; she was young; she was innocent. She was the greatest piece of ass I’ve ever had, and I’ve had ‘em all over the world.
“The King Of Hollywood” - The Eagles
Well, he sits up there on his leatherette
Looks through pictures of the ones that he hasn’t had yet
When he thinks he wants a closer look,
he gets out his little black telephone book
(He’s calling, calling, calling
He’s calling, calling, calling
He’s calling ,calling, calling
He’s calling)
“Come sit down here beside me, honey.
Let’s have a little heart to heart.
Now look at me and tell me, darlin’,
how badly do you want this part?
Are you willing to sacrifice?
And are you willing to be real nice?
All your talent and my good taste,
I’d hate to see it go to waste.”
“We gon’ get you an apartment, honey.
We gon’ get you a car.
(spoken) Yeah, we’re gonna take care of you, darlin’.
We gon’ make you a movie star.
For years I’ve seen ‘em come and go.”
He says, “I’ve had ‘em all, ‘ya know.
I handled everything in my own way.
I made ‘em what they are today.”
After ‘while nothin’ was pretty.
After ‘while everything got lost.
Still, his Jacuzzi runneth over.
Still he just couldn’t get off.
He’s just another power junky.
Just another silk scarf monkey.
You’d know it if you saw his stuff.
The man just isn’t big enough.
One must admit, this is by far the most entertaining show Harvey Weinstein ever produced. A capstone to his career.
This is barely skimming the surface of Hollywood perversion. Wait until homosexual pedophilia erupts like a greasy boil on the butt of humanity.
As a female I have to say the flip side to this is that women use their sex appeal to get ahead. So, start trying to get ahead using merit, please.
Exactly. They’ve been the big ‘defenders women’ .. make them live up to it!
Has anyone heard from Chris Dodd, former Senator, notorious partner of Teddy in the waitress sandwich incident, and until recently the face of Hollywood as head of the Motion Picture Association? His tenure at MPAA overlaps much of Weinsteins reign of terror. Given Chris own proclivities are we to believe that he knew nothing?
