In the run-up to Columbus Day, the violent, far-left organization Antifa announced a coordinated call to action to vandalize and damage monuments dedicated to the Spanish explorer. The protests were intended to steal the media spotlight away from celebrations honoring Christopher Columbus discovery of the New World and the founding of arguably the greatest nation in the history of the world.
In a communiqué threateningly titled Its Going Down, the militant group stated:
The battles lines have been drawn and white supremacists are on notice. White nationalist statues are crumbling all over the US as our collective revolutionary power is growing. As the monuments of white supremacist society fall we must continue to make it clear that their reign of terror is coming to an end.
For the occasion of Columbus Day, October 9th, one of the most vile holidays of the year, the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement is calling for collectives all over the country to take action against this day and in support of indigenous people in the US and abroad who have been victims of colonialism and genocide.
One of the most prominent targets for defacing was a monument in the heart of the nations capital. Standing outside Union Station in downtown Washington DC is Columbus Fountain, the creation of American sculptor Lorado Taft in 1911. The fountain is the centerpiece of Columbus Circle, which commemorates the illustrious explorers voyages to the Americas.
Thus, there was every expectation of massive protests in the veritable belly of the Beast against what radical leftists view as the symbol of racial oppression that lies at the heart of American imperialism.
Accordingly, the American Civil Rights Union (not to be confused with the ACLU) sent a video team to record the festivities.
Few could have predicted the astounding unfolding of the ensuing protest on October 9, in the midst of Columbus Day celebrations elsewhere in the DC metro area and nationwide. What transpired fuels suspicions that radical groups like Antifa are largely media creations, composed of naïve leftist idealists at best, and paid agent provocateurs at worst.
The ACRU YouTube video should give patriots hope that despite whatever faults the famous explorer had the vast majority of Americans wish to honor the day when Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas.
It’s so hard to get a good rent-a-mob these days.
Official government story: It was the wind that brought a bunch of power lines down in dry conditions.
They really do think we are idiots.
But even funded by Isabella.
Bob Avakian, is he related to Brad Avakian, the DA in Wahsington state who tormented that Christian bakery for refusing to make the queer wedding cake? In 1980, when there were riots of Miami over a supposedly unjustified police shooting of a young Black man just starting to turn his life around, Avakian came to Tampa to stir some sh!t up. He was literally chased out of town by some Black people from Sulphur Springs who made it perfectly clear he was not welcome.
Robert Bruce (Bob) Avakian is an American political activist and Chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA (RCP) with no apparent connection to Brad Avakian.

According to our few resident hand-wringers and surrender monkeys here on FR, the leftist snowflakes will transform into 10-foot-tall Rambos, confiscate our weapons by morning and send us all off to concentration camps before the dinner bell rings.
It’s really scary stuff. Ask them.
Do they even know who or what Columbus was?
I doubt it. Just a bunch of Commies.
