The "non-scandal" scandal involving a former I.T. aide to several Democratic congressmen, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, took an interesting turn when the wife of the alleged hacker and fraudster Imran Awan showed up in court separate from her husband and had retained a separate attorney.
Imran Awan's own wife, Hina Alvi, filed papers in a Pakistani court accusing her husband of fraud and of marrying another woman. The couple did not look at each other when they showed up in federal court on Friday.

From Wikipedia:
"Under U.S. federal common law, the spousal testimonial privilege is held by the witness-spouse, not the party-spouse, and therefore does not prevent a spouse who wishes to testify from doing so. The rationale of this rule is that if a witness-spouse desires to testify against the party-spouse, there is no marital harmony left to protect through the obstruction of such testimony."

Wonder if he wired the $$ to a side chick?

Yep, she can testify against him. That should be enough to put some pressure on. She might be precluded from testifying to any marital communications. Different rule.

They want to nail him for espionage and any number of other items, but the real targets are above him.
The first to squeal gets the deal.

It would nice if someone would clarify: Is it the “DEMOCRAT” Party or the “DEMOCRATIC” PARTY.

Without the ick, the Democrat Party wouldn’t exist.
If you’re a Republican, you’re from the Republican Party.
If you’re a Dummycrat, you’re from the Dumbcrap Party.

I’m surprised that they didn’t just call it an “IT glitch”.

Is it the DEMOCRAT Party or the DEMOCRATIC PARTY. It's simply the "RATs"
It was self-chosen in reaction to a GWB campaign commercial where the word "democrat" scrolled across the screen, and the syllable "rat" was the last to disappear.
They whacked....it stuck.
