Crazy. It’s like two dozen Gatlinburg fires from last year scattered over 1/2 that state.

An EVACUATION ADVISORY has been issued by The Napa County Sheriff’s Department. The advisory includes areas East of Silverado Trail, between Trancas Street and Soscol Avenue, East of Soscol Avenue between Silverado Trail and West Imola Avenue, East of HWY 221between West Imola Avenue and HWY 29, East of HWY 29 between HWY 221 and Jameson Canyon Road, North of Jameson Canyon Road between HWY 12 and the Napa/Solano County line.
THIS IS NOT A MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER!:
If in this area, you are advised to be prepared, should a Mandatory Evacuation order be issued. For information on preparing for an evacuation, please visit

Hey, in Virginia we are having our first rains in 7 weeks. I wish I could send it out there, I’d wait a couple more to help y’all out.
I just talked to my niece, she going to get some rest and hope that things remain OK. The Santa Rosa Fire Update FB page is good, people helping people, sharing needs and info, getting clothing and stuff to evacuees. Everyone is fearful of the wind tonight though. Many report that police are going door to door reminding all to be ready to leave if things go south. What a wretched few days.

Our Canyon 2 Fire here in Orange County was big enough and we were very lucky. But these fires going on up in NorCal are unbelievable. 72 hours now and the fires are growing larger. The fronts are merging.

My friend left downtown Sonoma a couple of hours ago. They say that Petaluma issued a caution for people to be alert and consider getting things ready due to the high winds.

If it weren’t for FEMA and other states coming to California’s rescue, he’d have everything mucked up ten times over. Don’t worry, just give him a day or two and he’ll start blaming President Trump for the wild fires.
