Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) officially declared her intention to run for reelection Monday, ending months of speculation about her future and probably avoiding what would have been an intense scramble of Golden State politics to succeed her.
I am running for reelection to the Senate. Lots more to do: ending gun violence, combating climate change, access to healthcare. Im all in! Feinstein tweeted.
On Sunday, Feinstein hinted in a national television interview that she was likely to run again, telling NBCs Meet the Press that she was close to a formal decision.
Feinstein, 84, is Californias senior senator and the oldest U.S. senator in office. She will be seeking her fifth full term she won a special election in 1992 to fill out the term of then-Sen. Pete Wilson (R).

Just to put things into perspective, Pat Leahy (D-VT), who has been in the Senate since 1975, is YOUNGER than Dianne Feinstein.

It may be prudent to turn the Democrat wing of the U.S. SENATE into assistant living.

Her big break came when San Francisco's mayor was assassinated and she took his place.

Wow. She will be 90 when her next term is up. Wow
To: cotton1706
Wealthy, left wing, anti-2A ‘RAT who needs to be put out to pasture. Instead, she’ll get re-dipped at Madame Tussauds and propped up at her Senate desk for another six years.

Says the person exempt from Obamacare and has a rare California permit to carry a concealed handgun. Poster person for both term limits and Democrat aristocrat hypocrisy.

Lots more to do:
Preventing fish from swimming

I don’t recall who said that the U.S. Senate was the worlds best nursing home, but it’s true. It’s certainly the most expensive.

Better to have Dianne Feinstein than a younger Democrat who will use the seat as a launching pad for their 2020 Presidential bid.

Dianne seems to be in much better mental shape than Pelosi, the dem leader.
To: nickedknack
And, frighteningly, she is probably better than anything that California would elect as her replacement.
