CNN’s Symone Sanders said Sunday that white people “do not get to” criticize black protesters.
Sanders, appearing on, “CNN Newsroom With Fredricka Whitfield,” said to conservative pundit Ben Ferguson, “White people do not get to tell black folks or anybody else what is acceptable form of protest.”
Ferguson responded, “Not everything’s about race Symone. Not everything is about race” to which she responded, “Maybe not for you is it, but for folks who are protesting police…the issue of policy brutality is absolutely about race.”
The exchange got heated after Ferguson said, “You stand up and are one of those that are in charge of helping the military. You have a duty, an obligation to the President of the United States of America to leave a situation where people were basically giving the middle finger to the men and women who fought and protect this country.”
Sanders responded, “That is false and you should be ashamed.”
Simian, I mean Simone, you don’t get to tell me what I can say or protest. You don’t get to tell me what I can complain about. You can protest during the national anthem if you want, but there will be consequences. Keep pushing and there will REALLY be consequences.

She could have said People do not get to tell other people what is the acceptable form of protest.
Now that is a non-racist statement.
However, it is also still incorrect.
Society helps determine what is acceptable and not acceptable form of protest. And Society is saying dissing America by dishonoring our Anthem and our Flags will come at a price.
No one (it seems) is stopping the protest, but those that are protesting should know there will be a price to be paid for their action.

Actually, the problems in the black community are a reflection of a general disintegration of American society. All groups are affected just that blacks are hit harder than most.
