Um, no they haven't.
To my knowledge, not a single Dallas Cowboy player has ever kneeled during the playing of the national anthem before any Dallas Cowboys football game.
There was the one meaningless group kneel before the national anthem last week in response to the President's harsh comments, and that was it—as, as I mentioned, it was before the anthem.
I hope more owners and coaches follow Jerry Jones' lead here. Comments like this from an owner of a top tier team should be very helpful in refocusing players' priorities.
Think about it. If you're a "kneeler" and you have a contract that expires after this year, you can pretty much cross the Cowboys off the list of teams you'll be signing with. Now, suppose a few more owners make similar comments.
Also, there's the example of Colin Kaepernick's fortunes after he opted out of his 49ers contract.
Yes, these developments will definitely cause some elevated thoughtfulness in most players' minds. Upon reflection, marvelous clarity often ensues after the initial "high" of wanton rebelliousness wears off...
“There was the one meaningless group kneel before the national anthem ,,,”
Sorry , WRONG; NOT meaningless;
It was in support of Kapernick and all the others who were DEFINATELY disrespecting the flag and the country.
finally...thank you.
I care What these Thugs Think???
They are Ball Players.
The Entire NFL has turned
Into a Hate Festival!
Burn ...
Baby , Burn!
Harsh?
What did the president say that was "harsh"?
“There was the one meaningless group kneel before the national anthem”
It wasn’t meaningless. It was a finger to Trump who said the BLM protesters should be fired. Jerry and his players knelt in solidarity to BLM, cop hate, Trump hate, and flag & America hate.
Kapernik said he was kneeling to not show support to a racist nation.
That's a stretch.
The President spoke the truth

Do you realize:
1- Their little demonstration of solidarity was a middle finger to the President, fans, military, and patriotic Americans in an attempt to support the players contention that police are killing black men for being black.
2- Nobody is concerned about the “players”being taught to “refocus their priorities”. The patriotic Americans are becoming aware of how many Americans hate their country, and hate “white” people, the flag, the anthem, and everything this country stands for, and giving up pro football is a small price to pay for standing up for their country.
Thumbs up!
In my later post here, I also pointed out that the kneeling by the Cowboys was NOT during the anthem.
Seems many folks just see a photo and then assume wrongly that it’s during the anthem.
Great comment and perspective, Sargon.
Jerry Jones is the smartest owner in the league — and maybe the one with the most to lose.
If all NFL owners had the same policy, then maybe the NFL could stop the bleeding. Then again, the brand is tainted now. Tough to return to its former glory as a professional league.
