Have a tattoo? If the answer is yes, its more likely youre unemployed or completely out of the labor force. On average, your income is lower. Youre more probably a smoker, use illegal drugs, engage in risky sexual behavior, have been a victim of crime, and have been incarcerated for committing crime yourself.

Nothing I hate (or almost), than seeing what would otherwise be a striking attractive girl, with otherwise a perfect looking body, blemished with tattoos.
“You dont get to determine a mans value based on your ignorance.”
You think people have time to read your biography?
You want to sport tattoos, then live with people making assumptions about you a first sight. It isnt our job to mentally compensate for you weird body decorations. And I guarantee you that you dont do that either.
It’s no different than freaks telling us to “not assume their gender on sight”.
On the other hand, you could also be in the military, riding an awesome Harley and/or mechanically adept.
You belong at DU with your identity politics.
Right back at ya.
Sleave tattoos look like the person got beaten up by someone and is all black and blue. I have not seen a facial tattoo and prefer not to see one. As for the teens getting tattoos I feel this is something they do to get attention and it comes from insecurity. The “tramp stamps” I have seen at work when the woman bends over with blue jeans on and they send a message all their own. One woman had a fish tattoo on her stomach and my nephew said it will be a big blow fish when she gets older. lol!
Truthfully, if a man has the stones to tell me to my face that they have a problem with it, I might respect them enough to engage in that conversation.
Until then, I’ll lead with my abilities and the narrow minded will do as they will.
Ok, does that extend to green and blue hair? Facial piercings? A man with a beard walking around in a mini skirt? A woman with a full mustache?
Exactly where do you draw the line with this new frontier in “civil rights”? And why dont those people deserve the same deference that people with tattoos demand?
Cute. Meaningless, but cute.
Awww diddum wittew feewings get hurt???
Tattoo’s simply make it easy to classify people. I appreciate those I have no interest in hiring or associating with identifying themselves to me so easily.
your hanging out with the wrong people, or wrong places. I dont personally know hardly any under 30 with a tatoo
The second husband of one of my aunts had been in the service during WWII, and one day during a family get together he was browbeaten into taking off his shirt so everyone could see his tattoos. He may or may not have cut a dashing, devil-may-care figure in 1945, but 30-odd years later, the artwork and the "canvas" were definitely NOT all that and a bag of chips.
It was sort of my "scared straight" moment vis-a-vis tats.

Well that's where you're wrong. Actually you CAN discern quite a bit from the cover.
Always worried about cleaning up your neighbors house...
If you’re doing anything worthwhile, you don’t have time to let other people’s tattoos bother you this much.
Yes. I always laugh at you when my feelings get hurt.
As tats have gone more mainstream, this study was more true 20 years ago, but the underclasses in society sure love their tattoos.
> My mom would call them tramp stamps!
And your mom would be spot on correct.
I have cousins that are or are almost welfare rats.
They don’t have a pot to piss in, but they talk about the next tattoo(s) they want to get.
They are an almost a point by point example of this article.
