Actually, I was driving a rental car which was rather zippy, but not 265 mph zippy!! ;)
OUt in middle of corn fields—literally! On my way to granddaughter’s birthday at son’s in-laws’ farm. I was truly lost due to my GPS and roads being out from rain, etc.
I was so far out in sticks, my voice instructions were coming a few minutes after passing turns etc. I did have paper directions and maps which I was working with—not paying attention to the speed.
I think the officer, late 20s/early 30s felt very sorry for me. Helped me get on the roads.
Drive back home was very pleasant as I knew the way :)
