Hollywood actress Jessica Chastain insisted on Tuesday that it takes months to obtain an X-ray in America, compared to minutes to purchase an AR-15.
Chastain is known for her roles in Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar, and The Martian. In a tweet on Tuesday, she included the handle for her less popular pro-gun control movie Miss Sloane, which in December 2016 had one of the worst opening weekends of all-time.

Chastain was mocked by others, who noted that she clearly did not know how long it took to obtain an X-ray or a gun.

Well, no. An x-ray can be had as soon as you get to the technician. Jessica is the type person who argues louder and louder as she begins to realize she is wrong.

Last time I got an x-ray it took two weeks - for me to stop saying it’s just a bruise and see my doctor. Then it took about two hours after I finally saw her to get the x-ray. (And it was just badly bruised with a muscle tear).
Funny how uninformed and ignorant these folks who PRETEND to be someone else for a living are.
Last time the doc wanted me to have an x-ray (non-emergency) it took all of five minutes to stroll down to the x-ray dept and maybe 20 min, at most, for the x-ray itself.
