The Las Vegas gunmans exact location took police 72 minutes to reach after the first 911 call.
Police received the first 911 call regarding Sundays shooting at the country music concert at 10:08 p.m. local time, NBC News reported. By the time, Stephen Paddock was done shooting, at least 59 people were dead and 515 injured.
Officers began their search for the gunman following the call and responders discovered the gunfire was coming from a window of the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino after seeing muzzle flashes, dispatch tape showed, The Mercury News reported.
Police began searching the hotels 29th floor before determining the gunman was on the 32nd floor, NBC News reported.
Authorities, however, eventually located the shooter due to the large amount of smoke from the gunfire, The Washington Post reported.

At Columbine, the amount of time that passed AFTER they arrived at the school until they entered was almost THREE FRIGGIN’ HOURS.
Did anyone say if the security guard was armed? Or was he just a cosmetic token guard they put out there as cannon fodder?
1,000 feet or 500 yards. Both of these are listed in this story.
She said she heard shots fired and then about five minutes of running towards the Tuscany she said she saw more police cars race down the strip than she ever knew existed.
After the shooting stopped the guy had plenty of time to walk out of his room and possibly exit the hotel but chose not to.
I’ve seen this number multiple times. Is it for real? Why did the shooter stop—good thing they did—but 72 minutes to shoot is incredible.
It was a guard and two LEOs. Photos show the suite door riddled with bullets. The door faced down the hall like a shooting gallery.

In the pictures of the body it seems he had laid there for some time before they made entry. The blood had coagulated and diverted the flow, that takes awhile. he may have shot himself not long after first contact. In another picture there’s a piece of paper on the table with an ashtray on it to keep it from getting knocked off. Love to see what he wrote on the note.
Seems there are so many posting on here now that immediately discount any thoughts or ideas presented that does not go along with the “official story” presented by the MSM and LE on site. Nothing to see here move on, not always the case.

Can I see a link showing the security guard initially showed up with two leos at the door?
Unknown at this time. There is plenty of both audio and video though. We will know soon.
I. DIDN’T. POST. THIS. THREAD.
Yep.
Las Vegas LEOs, please leak the truth...the FBI will bury your evidence, and we know those crooked FBICIASWAMP are trying to manhandle you and push you out of the way. America deserves the truth...drain the swamp! Las Vegas LEOs, we are on your side.
Yes, Freepers, I am speculating...I am likely not far off.
You have to wonder for a guy so stocked up on firepower and ammo, why he didn’t body armor up and make barricades of furniture and mattresses and stuff. He knew this was endgame and he wasn’t going to survive it, but he doesn’t want to even attempt to ensure he can use all or most of his stuff by having body some body armor and rudimentary cover/protection.
I guess I don’t have his thought processes. I cannot understand what goes on in the mind of someone like this.
The reason I ask is because if the security guard showed up to the suspects door with two LEO’s, that’s bad. Not good.
They should have had the security guard stand down at the end of the hall, stairway etc, then they should have proceeded without the guard. Just thinking out loud here.
