Las Vegas madman Stephen Paddock set up a camera inside his hotel room to capture his deadly shooting rampage — and other surveillance in the hallway to alert him as cops closed in on him, according to reports.
The shooter had at least one lens set up to tape himself as he unleashed hell on thousands of unsuspecting concertgoers several hundred yards below his ritzy casino suite, according to ABC News.

Yes, I listened to that. That seems like speculation based on conflicting reports in the heat of the moment, not a definitive statement of fact.
I agree that some of the sounds of gunfire appear to be coming from different locations, but that can be generally explained by using different caliber guns from two different parts of two adjoining rooms, which are facing different directions. That explanation doesn’t entirely fit what I hear when I listen to the cab video, but I’m willing to accept it.
The flashing light could just as easily be a strobe light alarm, as several people have suggested, and even shown video proof of it flashing behind a reporter hours after the event.
Plus, there is no really credible explanation for why there aren’t other broken windows except that some of the lower floors might have a small “ventilation” slide, which at most would be 6 inches wide. I think it would be difficult to repeatedly fire an automatic rifle through that kind of thing without damaging it noticeably, and probably shattering the window. Also, the distance to the festival is too great, with too many obstructions, to make a 4th floor room a viable shooting platform.

I didn’t express that well; what I really meant was that the deep state news will be telling us what to believe in this case; in other words, we’ll never get the full truth.

I just had a frightening notion as I read this... there are stories of a Blue Whale Challenge going around where an anonymous administrator uses very sophisticated psychological manipulation techniques to hook kids into doing a successive series of challenges and the final challenge is transmitting video of their own suicide to the administrator.
What would happen if these people could hook an adult and manipulate him? Someone with money, and access to guns who likes to take risks and has vices like high stakes gambling. What might someone as malevolent as a Blue Whale Challenge administrator convince him to do?

You’re right, the 4th floor range does present a problem. Maybe buildings blocking and the chance of getting seen much greater.
The real problem I’m having now is the shooting sound that is clearly very close. Need some other opinions on that. Quite odd.
I know. The whole thing doesn’t make sense and in a vacuum of information the mind tries to make sense with the little it has.
