Las Vegas madman Stephen Paddock set up a camera inside his hotel room to capture his deadly shooting rampage — and other surveillance in the hallway to alert him as cops closed in on him, according to reports.
The shooter had at least one lens set up to tape himself as he unleashed hell on thousands of unsuspecting concertgoers several hundred yards below his ritzy casino suite, according to ABC News.

two different cops said, "confirmed Two shooters" on different floors. There is auto video of a lady in a car listening to the shots. One weapons was right over her head the other was a long way off. There is another video you can distinctly hear two weapons going off at the same time.
Four different video's of muzzle flash from the fourth floor from. One of them from a moving car which means it could not have been a reflection.
At 15:25 you hear the different range from her location. At 27:10 you can visually see the muzzle flash on the 4th floor.

I wasn’t referring to the city of Las Vegas in general but to the hotel security staff in particular. Even after 9/11 I have never heard of a private business with a fully armed SWAT team on the premises.

Casino security focuses on the gaming floor, looking for card counters, people trying to tamper with slot machines or other gambling devices. Every pull of the slots, every toss of the dice, every hand of blackjack is recorded and actively monitored. There is also extensive security (as you’d expect) in the area(s) where money is handled/counted by casino employees.
Elsewhere, security is about what you’d find at any large hotel or resort. Cameras in common areas, security personnel at main entrances, etc. And, as a frequent gambler and casino visitor—with a girlfriend who worked in the business—he probably had some familiarity with security procedures, and had some idea of how to avoid suspicion over frequent trips to/from his car, although the odds of Paddock being stopped/questioned after check-in were practically nil.

Ballistics from the scene, if law enforcement can be trusted, will clear that up real quickly.
