For instance, I'm sick and tired of so-called conservatives calling for California to "fall into the sea" or for NYC to get nuked.
Zactly...
Actually, a great idea for America.
And I live here.
Me too.
Although, on the left, it is the elected officials making these horrible comments. On the right, it mostly seems to be ranting on boards.
But I still agree with you.
I know what you mean but do I really have to stop wishing a giant sink hole would open up and swallow Washington DC...returning it to the true swamp it once was?
What is we just wish for Calif. to become separated and cast adrift from the Continent and perhaps capsize?
What if we just wish for Calif. to become separated from and cast adrift from the Continent and perhaps capsize?
I would hope that we would not sink down to their level; however, actual violent threats should be dealt with. And I also fear we are dealing with secular fanatics akin to the old Shinto Japanese.
Amen to to that my FRiend!
I am always pissed at comments like that!
#11. Of course I’m all for most of California to fall into the sea. I’m investing in beachfront property in Nevada. /sarc
As for NY City, the only thing that could clean up the rats’ nest is a nuke. Not only is it very corrupt, but the Marxists have make great, usually un-noticed inroads into control that city, with help from the communist Working Families Party.
At least the Mafia has been chopped down a lot over the past 20 years though the Clintons/Janet Reno stopped a Dept. of Justice takeover of LIUNA (Laborers International Union of No. America) through assets seizure because the Mob had given the Clintons and the Democrats over $3 Million in donations to various campaigns/causes and got back about $30 Million Plus in Federal training grants, etc.
See the American Spectator, April 1997, “Let’s Be Friends: A Mob-Controlled Union Delivers the Good for Bill”, by Byron York. It will blow you mind away. I worked on part of that takeover effort by the government only to see Janet Reno quash the indictments (see York’s article for the details).
New York is the East Coast equivalent of Chicago, pretty to look at but pretty rotten at its core.
Totally agree !!
Hey! I said Only the upper east side!!!!!!
I just watch Independence Day, not the sequel, or Day After Tommorrow, for a good fix of that.
