I am very skeptical that it was belt fed. Even stolen belt feds demand big bucks in the illegal arms trade in the US. I am think homebrew FA. I currently believe that there was multiple weapons based upon some things the Sheriff said.

There have been a number of thefts of military guns in the last couple years, some of which occurred after Hillary lost. Many have not been recovered. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that an Obamanite in the service who was getting out could have passed the gun ‘over the fence’ as it were on his way out the door. Remember, the Obama military was run very shoddily.

Speculation on my part, but there are a lot of things smuggled in from Mexico that wind up in Las Vegas. No reason military grade fully automatic weapons couldn’t be.

Keep in mind, there are a number of ranges around there that do machine gun rentals - they stock everything from subguns to crew served weapons for people to play with for a fee. My first thought was somebody may have snatched one of those things from an inventory and went ape with it.

I just did some checking - the shooter reportedly was on the 32nd floor. At the most, building security and possibly cops would have been 3 floors away on 35, which is the Four Seasons lobby. So, seconds away down the stairs or with an express elevator key.
